When it comes to breakups, no one knows more than Bachelor, Peter Weber. And thanks to Jimmy Kimmel, he’s getting some practice to help prepare him for the rest of the season.
On a new segment entitled “The Bachelor on an Escalator” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the comedian and talk show host sent Weber to a local mall to break up with strangers on an escalator. “One of the most important skills a Bachelor has to have is the ability to end a relationship,” said Kimmel while introducing the clip. (He’s not wrong).
And it went exactly as you would imagine it. While some people giggled as Weber tried to let them down easy, others were not as amused and looked (as anyone who doesn’t recognize the pilot should look) quite confused. One woman really wanted absolutely nothing to do with him and quickly sped away.
“I just feel like we've shared so much in these last three seconds,” he told a stranger. “It's been, like, an amazing journey for me. So, I want you to know that, but I think I have to let you go now.”
“I think I want to start riding with other people,” he told another. Quite clever.
