Prince Harry, you trickster!

The Duke of Sussex had a scheduled appearance at WE Day today in London, which is an event attended by 12,000 teachers and students who have made a difference in their local communities, and surprised the crowd when he “dragged” his wife, Meghan Markle, on stage halfway through (to the overwhelming cheering from the audience).

During his speech, Prince Harry mentioned Markle by reciting a quote she loves.

“As my wife often reminds me with one of her favorite quotes by Martin Luther KingJr., ‘Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that,’” Harry said.

“I’m now going to try and drag my wife on stage,” he continued to the uproar of the audience. He then walked over to help Markle onto the stage as she beamed up at him wearing black skinny jeans, a black T-shirt and a navy blazer.

“Guys, I am with you and we are with you.” Prince Harry said with his arm around Markle, who is seven months pregnant. “Get to work.”

The duchess wore her hair down in loose waves for the event, and is that the pregnancy supplements or did she get a blowout? Because her hair is looking extra voluminous these days.

Per fashion blog Meghan's Mirror, the duchess was sporting two Pippa Small bangles and her “Mummy” necklace by Jennifer Meyer that she received at her New York City baby shower.

This year’s WE Day, which is part of the WE Movement, “a global initiative to encourage young people to take part in positive social change,” also included appearances by Naomi Campbell and Liam Payne.

But, let’s be real: A surprise Duchess of Sussex sighting takes the cake in our book. (*Buys tickets to next year’s event just in case*)
