Actress Anna Cathcart & Author Jenny Han Spill Deets on ‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before’ Sequel (and Third Movie)

We’re getting closer and closer to the premiere of the To All The Boys I've Loved Before sequel, so naturally, we’re gathering all of the spoilers we can.

PureWow got the opportunity to sit down with author and producer of the film, Jenny Han, and actress Anna Cathcart (Kitty) to find out what we can expect from the new Netflix film To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You.

“In the first film, we see a love starting to blossom and then we get really into the full bloom in the second one—going from what it’s like just falling in love with somebody and then being in a relationship with somebody,” said Han.

And while Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) no longer have to pretend to be a couple, there might be some trouble in paradise when another recipient of Lara Jean’s love letters, John Ambrose (Jordan Fisher), answers her.

“There’s obviously a love triangle going on,” Cathcart added. “So, you can see how even though she thought things were perfect finishing off on the first film where she was so excited, now you can see that it’s not always going to be perfect, some things are going to come up but everybody goes through stuff and she figures it out.”

John’s return leaves Lara Jean confused about whether or not she could have feelings for both Peter and John. And it seems like some competition ensues between the two boys. Yikes.

And that’s not all we found out. Apparently the team has already wrapped-up filming the third film (!). Yup, so looks like there are a lot more love letters in our future.

To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You officially hits Netflix on February 12.
