Mmm, sushi. You love it for its savory (and soy sauce-enhanced) flavors, but this genius recipe from Vegan Heaven is proof: Sushi’s also pretty sweet as a dessert.
What you need: Three bananas, peanut butter, dark chocolate, a small bowl and a knife. Pistachios, coconut flakes, chia seeds or sesame seeds are optional.
What you do: Peel the bananas and use a knife to coat them with peanut butter. Next, melt the dark chocolate in a small bowl in the microwave (zapping it for 30 seconds should do the trick), then carefully layer it on top of the peanut butter.
Now, here’s the optional part: Pick a topping—like sesame seeds—and sprinkle them all over the banana. Let the chocolate harden for 10 minutes, then cut the banana into sushi-sized pieces and serve.
