Anne Hathaway Makes Red Carpet Return After Welcoming Baby No. 2

Anne Hathaway is back and more glam than ever.

The 37-year-old Modern Love actress just marked her first red carpet appearance since welcoming her second child with husband Adam Shulman.

Hathaway presumably gave birth late last year, as she was spotted walking with Shulman, a baby carrier and their 3-year-old son Jonathan in December. At last night’s Critic’s Choice Awards, where she was nominated for Best Actress in a Movie/Miniseries and served as a presenter, Hathaway looked resplendent in gold sequins.

The Oscar winner selected a shimmering Versace gown for the occasion, complete with a plunging neckline, billowing sleeves and a fitted skirt. Sharing her outfit pic on Instagram, Hathaway also revealed that the gown featured a low back. (She captioned the pic, “Welcome back xx.”)

Even though her gown packed a lot of sparkle, Hathaway didn’t shy away from piling on actual bling. She paired the Versace number with diamond drop ear cuffs, several diamond rings and an ornate diamond embellished hand chain bracelet. She was, quite literally, dripping in diamonds. She also carried a bronze box clutch and finished the look with metallic sandal heels.

When it came to hair and makeup, Hathaway kept up the glam theme. She wore her tresses in a middle part with lots of volume at the crown and big curls. She also played up her eyes with dark liner and metallic shadows. Simply put, she was glowing.

All we can say is we bet she and her hubby were grateful for a dressed-up night out.
