The Key to Your Kid’s Heart Is This Amazing Milkshake Trick
Best. Dessert. Ever
You’ve probably seen giant, decadent milkshakes like this beauty by blogger Bethcakes all over the Internet. Turns out, it’s pretty easy to make these impressive shakes in your own kitchen (and earn major mom points while you’re at it). Here’s how.
What you need: Milkshake glasses, ice cream, milk, frosting, sprinkles and candy.
Step 1: Use a spoon to spread a thick layer of frosting around the top half of the inside and outside of each glass.
Step 2: Let your kids decorate the glasses with their favorite candies—they’ll stick right to the frosting. Decorate the exterior with colorful sprinkles or mini M&M’s and then add chocolate-covered pretzels or Kit Kat bars so they’re poking out from inside the glass.
Step 3: Meanwhile, blend a few scoops of ice cream with a splash of milk in a blender or milkshake machine. Pour the shakes into the candy-covered glasses and be sure to take photos before your kids dig in.
