It's been exactly one year since millions of royal enthusiasts (me included) witnessed the crowning of Britain’s latest monarch, King Charles III, and his Queen Consort, Camilla. To celebrate the first anniversary of this momentous occasion, Buckingham Palace took a little trip down memory lane.

On their official Instagram account, the palace shared a video recap of His Majesty's coronation, which took place at Westminster Abbey and was attended by 2,200 people. The caption reads, "Today marks the first anniversary of the King and Queen’s Coronation in Westminster Abbey. As well as the service itself, the Coronation Weekend saw a carriage procession through central London, a fly-past, a Royal Salute by 4,000 troops in the gardens of Buckingham Palace, a Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle and a UK-wide volunteering initiative."

The palace also encouraged followers to share their favorite memories of the weekend, and fans proceeded to flood the comments section with compliments and standout moments. One person wrote, "The entrance to the Abbey was grand, just like everything that happened, it was a day not to be forgotten...God Save the King." Another said, "William’s respect of his Pa, George being a page, Charlotte looking after Louis. How beautiful Catherine looked. And their resilience now in adversity."

Royally Obsessed podcast hosts Rachel Bowie and Roberta Fiorito also traveled across the pond to attend the coronation last year, and they pointed out five things that caught their eye—including Prince Harry's bonding moments with his cousin and the crowd's positive response to Princess Anne. They wrote, "Even amidst all the pomp, the crowds seemed to swell extra loud with delight any time Anne was in sight. To us, it rang clear that, amongst Londoners, she’s an incredibly respected member of the royal fam. Of course, the Waleses were the only ones to match Anne—the crowd erupted with glee every single time Prince William and Kate Middleton appeared."

The co-hosts also took notice of King Charles's response when his wife was crowned. They said, "The king appeared fairly expressionless throughout the proceedings, which isn’t meant to be a ding. (After all, the gravity of the occasion meant seriousness was apropo.) Still, when Queen Camilla was crowned, Charles looked quite emotional. Dare we say that tears welled in his eyes? It makes sense given that he and Camilla have been married for 18 years."

If you recall, the ceremony had several more highlights, including Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte's matching ensembles, Prince Louis's meme-worthy facial expressions and Prince George's historic role as a Page of Honor. And who could forget about the king and queen's royal wave from the iconic balcony?
