Is Buckingham Palace Trolling Meghan Markle with New Vid or Is it Just a Coincidence?

Meghan Markle and Buckingham Palace may have found themselves in a jam. 

In case you haven’t seen it yet, the Buckingham Palace Shop (aka the official royal gift shop) recently posted an Instagram video that showcases their custom strawberry preserves. The minute-long clip shows a person off-camera smearing the bright red jam onto a crumpet and even a croissant. 

The caption reads, “Our Strawberry Preserve is made using only the finest berries and is delicious served in a variety of ways. Some of our favorite ways are shown here: On a scone as part of a cream tea, on a crumpet, with a croissant [and] on toast. How do you enjoy your strawberry preserve?”

Of course, royal fans were quick to sound off in the comments section of the post. One follower wrote, “Is it just me that loves the subtle shade?” Another user commented, “I’m dying at the timings of this ad [laughing emojis].”

The release of Buckingham Palace Shops’ strawberry preserve video comes on the heels of the Duchess of Sussex’s recent strawberry jam launch, which is a part of her new lifestyle brand called the American Riviera Orchard. Many of Markle’s famous and influential friends have been posting about receiving her jam on social media, including Chrissy Teigen.
