How to Clean Shoes with Nail Polish Remover

Guys. White sneakers require a little TLC from time to time. (Hey, those soles aren’t going to clean themselves.) To get your kicks looking like new, grab some nail polish remover and watch how it’s done. Here’s how to clean shoes with nail polish remover.

Step 1: Get Them Dirty

You can’t clean the shoes if they’re not dirty (duh).

Step 2: Nail polish remover and a cotton ball

You probably already have these things around the house. But if not, you can get them at any local beauty store or drugstore.

Step 3: Soak cotton balls in the nail polish remover.

They don’t need to be saturated, but just full enough.

Step 4: Wipe

Use the cotton ball on the dirty part of your shoe until they gleam. Voilá.
