Last summer, we were all about chilled reds and, of course, rosé. Though both are pretty timeless compared with the unicorn lattes we may have also been seen clutching, we’re dying to know what the biggest vino will be this season.

Wine influencer and PureWow Coterie member Heather Gordon is here to save our empty wine glasses with the answer.

“When the summer heat is debilitating and your thinnest T-shirt feels like a burka, look for a reprieve in the Grüner Veltliner Hefeabzug Nikolaihof,” the Blanc de Blonde blogger tells us. “This Austrian white is ultra clean, crisp and everything you need to perk you up on balmy days.” It’s crisp with medium acidity and a frothy, lemony-fresh light body—oh, and it’s only $25.

Tossing back a glass (or three) of dry Austrian Grüner is a bit like spending a cloudless afternoon on the most pristine California beach, splashing around in the water in your smallest bikini. The sand smells like powdered granite and the breeze wafts with a salty brine. You want to linger here forever…or at least keep coming back all summer long.
