Your Weekly Horoscopes: June 28 to July 4, 2020

If it seems like everything in your life becomes a lesson about interpersonal relationships, well...it’s for a reason. Since 2017, you’ve been leveling up your romantic partnerships, taking on more clients or just simply putting yourself out there more. Since March though, you’ve been more focused on building your wealth or negotiating shared finances. Let the stock options and joint bank accounts rest this week and focus on the relationship itself. On the 30th, you might get caught saying something harsh that you didn’t mean. How can you stay honest as you keep growing together?

This week’s mantra: You are who you surround yourself with.

Let’s face it, you don’t do well when you’re out of the spotlight. And since quarantine began, you’ve been struggling with internalizing a personal achievement without external praise. On the 1st though—whether you’re returning to the office for the first time in months or just rocking a fresh hairstyle at the grocery store—you finally get that validation you’ve been craving. As Saturn re-enters Capricorn on the same day, you’re also deep in the grind of a work assignment or personal project. Organize those spreadsheets you haven’t looked at since December and perhaps even more accolades will come.

This week’s mantra: You deserve it all.

You love to be of service and on the 30th, you get the deep satisfaction of talking a coworker down from a crisis or having a heart-to-heart with a friend. Even if she doesn’t follow it, your advice is always appreciated. On the 1st, Saturn re-enters Capricorn and your focus shifts from the grind of your day job back to the tangled mess of your personal life. If you haven’t been on the dating apps since December or practiced guitar since January, why not begin again? You can work hard for happiness too.

This week’s mantra: Close your laptop and open your heart.

This week has you considering what makes you comfortable. Since March, you’ve likely been feeling creatively and romantically stifled. Has your dating life suffered because you can’t bear the thought of your roommate hearing you flirt over FaceTime? Has your artistic life deteriorated because you can’t paint while your kids take a math class over Zoom? As Saturn re-enters Capricorn on the 1st, try to notice where you can give yourself more space. What’s uncomfortable is becoming unbearable and only you have the power to change your circumstances.

This week’s mantra: Comfort starts from the inside.

If you’ve been feeling lethargic or uninspired, a sudden burst of energy on the 30th helps you make strides on a home improvement project or begin a productive conversation with your roommate. You’ve been slowly learning that building better boundaries starts at home. But as Saturn re-enters Capricorn on the 1st, a conflict with your sister or an old friend resurfaces. If this makes you feel like you’re regressing, remember that it’s never too late to communicate better. Reply to her text—or don’t!—with a fresh maturity.

This week’s mantra: Boundaries are everything.

Since March, you’ve been overwhelmed with an overflowing inbox, endless Twitter wars and Zoom meetings that could have been an email. But starting on the 30th, you put these communication issues aside to reconsider a financial matter you’ve been avoiding since January. Maybe you took a promotion and the money just isn’t as good as you thought it would be. Maybe you paid a huge broker fee for an apartment and you already want to move. You’ve grown so much in how you handle your finances so you know nothing can be solved until you give it a long, hard look.

This week’s mantra: It’s OK to need more.

You’ve been responsibly—and blissfully, TBH––caught up in updating your wardrobe, organizing your finances or just baking a lot of sourdough since March. But this week, despite how much you’ve accomplished, how much you’ve built your net worth, you can no longer avoid those gnawing feelings of self-doubt. Who are you when you aren’t being productive? If you need a break, take one. A bubble bath? Do it. A splurge-worthy delivered meal? Go for it. Happiness comes with acceptance, so lean into all the self-care you need.

This week’s mantra: Only bake bread if it feeds you.

Whether it’s a Zoom reunion with your favorite cousins, a successful local fundraiser or a viral Twitter hot take, you’re feeling like the ruler of your own tiny kingdom on the 28th. But as Saturn returns to Capricorn on the 1st, you’re moved to step back and focus on the big picture. How can you keep making a difference when you’re not the one in charge? Let your coworker take the lead on an upcoming project. Let your wife pick this weekend’s quarantine board game. Remember that even if you aren’t calling the shots, your contribution matters.

This week’s mantra: Share the control.

You’ve been blissfully taking needed space for yourself since Saturn entered your unconscious sector on March 21st—meditating, getting into your WFH groove and ignoring everyone’s texts. This week, you get an amazing creative download, but as Saturn re-enters Capricorn on the 1st, instead of working on that project, you get caught up in some drama—unresolved wounds regarding your friends and community. It’s OK to admit that someone you love let you down. How can you move on from what’s hurt you while keeping your mind—and your heart—on the big picture?

This week’s mantra: Forgive so you can create.

On the 28th, what sometimes comes off as pushiness or aggression on your part ends up being exactly the tough love a friend needs. Hold onto that confidence—and the connections you’ve built over the last few months—because things are about to get very challenging again at work. Remember the drama that dominated your daily life back in December and January? The struggle is similar but you’re more prepared to handle it graciously this time. Even if you know you’re right, it’s important to consider everyone’s opinion as you move ahead.

This week’s mantra: Your thoughts are important but listen first.

Whether you’ve taken on more responsibilities at work or decided to totally overhaul your career, you’ve made some major strides since March when it comes to leadership. Not only do friends and colleagues look up to you, but you’re finally giving yourself credit where it’s due. As Saturn dips back into Capricorn on the 1st, take a pause to step out of the spotlight. You’ve grown a lot but does what you’re putting out there match your deepest held beliefs? Take some time over the weekend to read a book and check in with your spiritual self.

This week’s mantra: Are you practicing what you preach?

Though you’re usually playing the role of everyone’s favorite gossip, Mercury retrograde has you doing a lot more listening. And on the 30th, your patience is rewarded when you receive a missing check and/or an overdue accolade. As Saturn re-enters Capricorn on the 1st, you must return to a difficult business negotiation or personal finance drama that you thought was over back in January. Whether it’s a tough client or a grueling divorce proceeding, try to avoid any more arguments. Instead, prioritize compromise.

This week’s mantra: Keep calm and get what you want.
