Your Weekly Horoscopes: June 25 to July 1, 2023

If you’re not from California, you may not know about June Gloom—Cali slang for overcast skies in the late spring and early summer. June Gloom happens when marine layer clouds form over the cool ocean at night, filling typically sunny expanses with dense fog and drizzling rain. No matter where you are in the world this week, that June gloom melancholy is in the astro forecast. Disappointment, confusion and overwhelm persists, but eventually the temperature rises and the sun breaks through bringing much needed clarity.

Your Monthly Horoscopes: June 2023

(March 21 - April 19)

A sudden burst of inspiration or change of plans kickstarts your week. Whether you’re last-minute applying for a job, or using an unexpected cash gift to upgrade your wardrobe (yes, again), your attention is focused differently than you thought it would be this week. Follow the detours where they lead you.

This week’s mantra: “Navigate.”

(April 20 - May 20)

You’re not one to jump into the unfamiliar without a game plan, but some unexpected home or family matters force you to rush into something new. This is equal turns empowering and destabilizing and by the end of the week, all you want is to melt into your couch. A long phone or text catchup with your BFF over the weekend helps you feel like yourself again.

This week’s mantra: "Stabilize.”

(May 21 - June 20)

You thought you were finally getting that promotion this week but out of nowhere, your boss is under the weather and the performance review is delayed. It’s going to happen eventually, but probably not until next month, and you’d already made big plans for spending that bonus and pay bump. Whoops! It’s disappointing but nothing a little clever budgeting over the weekend can’t solve.

This week’s mantra: “Regroup.”

(June 21 - July 22)

Communication planet Mercury enters your sign on the 25th and for the next few weeks, you’re blessed with the unique power of sensitive articulation. If you’ve been putting off a touchy conversation, wait until the weekend (when Mercury meets the sun on the 1st) to delicately broach the subject. It’s scary but you’ll walk away with much needed clarity.

This week’s mantra: “Gentle.”

(July 23 - Aug 22)

If you’ve been deleting your bank statement emails, paying only minimums on your credit card or delaying a tough convo with your roomie about finances, you can no longer avoid the situation this week. It’s confusing and overwhelming to navigate but try to sit with the information. Admitting you have a problem is the first step.

This week’s mantra: “Honesty.”

(August 23 - September 23)

An intense conversation with your boyfriend, bestie or business partner starts your week off on a rocky foot. It seems that the two of you don’t see eye to eye about your next career move. You might need to get some other opinions and with your ruling planet Mercury moving into your friendship sector on the 25th, you have lots of opportunities to crowdsource and connect.

This week’s mantra: “Second opinion.”

(September 23 - October 21)

Slow down and take care of your body and health this week, Libra. Though there’s a lot brewing as far as your career and public image, you’re not going to get anywhere if you don’t cultivate discipline. This is less about refining your to-do list and more about making sure you’re eating enough vegetables. Take better care of yourself so things come together from a grounded place.

This week’s mantra: “Health.”

(October 22 - November 21)

Change isn’t your favorite, but this week it’s inevitable. Whether you’re hitting an unexpected PR at the gym or receiving the thrilling news that your toxic boss is getting fired, you’re going to need to adjust your schedule after you get this new information. A great conversation with a mentor or teacher (or a resonant line in the book you’re reading) brings you clarity over the weekend.

This week’s mantra: “Upgrade.”

(November 22 - December 21)

Lots of moving parts in your life right now and while some things heat up, others have to be put on the back burner. It feels bittersweet to rush into something exciting when you’re also leaving a different dream behind. Clarification about who’s on your team over the weekend helps smooth the transition.

This week’s mantra: “Release.”

(December 22 - January 19)

Things like schedules and routines feel a bit in flux or confusing right now, but what makes things easier is getting back into the flow with someone you love. Whether it’s weekly drinks with your bestie or monthly road trips with your partner, commit to something that will bring you consistent joy.

This week’s mantra: “Drive.”

(January 20 - February 18)

Whether it’s money woes or self-esteem problems, you’ve been having a hard time feeling confident and resourced lately. Should you choose what makes you happy or what provides the most stability? Focus on your routines and building consistency in your day to day this week to keep the overwhelm at bay.

This week’s mantra: “Consistent.”

(February 19 - March 20)

Neptune stations retrograde in your sign on the 30th making this week a very spacey one for you. Take time to connect with your body and mind each day and make sure you’re taking care of your nervous system. What happens now may not be what it seems so take everything with a grain of salt. At the very least, you’ll get some clarity around your desires.

This week’s mantra: “Flow.”
