Your Weekly Horoscopes: July 2 to 8, 2023

Though we usually talk about full moons as the peak of a cycle, when everything we initiated at the new moon reveals and manifests, full moons are also an excellent time to quit while you’re ahead. With the full moon in Capricorn lighting up the night sky on the 3rd, this is a key time to consider whether what you’re building is worth the long-term effort. If it is, keep laying that foundation! If it’s not, call off the construction team and get your refund. It takes a long time to dismantle what Capricorn has built otherwise.

Venus squares off with Uranus on the 2nd encouraging shifting desires and sudden creative and romantic breakthroughs. Mercury connects with Uranus on the 7th bringing some inspired and innovative thinking.

What Your Lilith Sign (Aka You're Inner Bitch) Says About You

(March 21 - April 19)

You’ve put so much work into getting where you’re at in your career. But let’s pause for a sec—are you reading this between answering emails over the holiday weekend? Is success really worth this lack of balance? Opportunities to unapologetically relax and shift your priorities are available this week if you’re willing to take them. Celebrate what you’ve accomplished but don’t get stuck there.

This week’s mantra: “Balance.”

(April 20 - May 20)

Think back to last December when a current travel, education or spiritual pursuit was just a tiny seed of an idea. You’ve learned a lot since then! Let your focus this week be on integrating those experiences and lessons into your everyday life. Allow more surprise in your day-to-day so you’re less tempted to hop on a plane to the desert and never return.

This week’s mantra: "Integrate.”

(May 21 - June 20)

If there’s an uncomfortable truth you’ve been avoiding, unfortunately there’s nowhere left to hide. This is the week where secrets bubble to the surface and longstanding grudges are revealed. Something that was just a tiny annoyance back in December becomes a full blown cathartic therapy session. You’ll feel better after having a good cry. You have resources to get through this!

This week’s mantra: “Reveal.”

(June 21 - July 22)

Whether you’re dealing with a rocky patch in your relationship, a boring stretch at work, or an uncertain time in your own business, this week has you considering backing out of some contracts you signed back in December. Consider whether you see yourself committed to this in the long-term. Is this something you want to wake up and choose every day?

This week’s mantra: “Commit.”

(July 23 - Aug 22)

Back in December, you had an inkling of how you needed to set your days up for success. You made all kinds of promises about going to the gym, waking up an hour earlier and leaving your electronics out of the bedroom. This week you get to see that discipline made visible. If you’ve been going hard, perhaps use this as an opportunity to give yourself grace. If you’ve fallen off track, take this as a sign to pick yourself up.

This week’s mantra: “Discipline.”

(August 23 - September 23)

“Fun” has never been a light-hearted subject for you. It’s not that you’re unable to have any of it, it’s that you take pleasure very seriously. This week’s full moon highlights the romance, creativity and joy that you’ve been cultivating in your life since December. Remember to feel into it rather than just check this off as yet another accomplishment.

This week’s mantra: “Romance.”

(September 23 - October 21)

If you’ve been putting off making your house feel like a real home, this week’s full moon forces you to look at all the ways you’ve been denying yourself peace and comfort. Whether you need to upgrade your living room furniture or uproot your entire housing situation, look to your friends for help and guidance. Who owes you a favor? Cash that in.

This week’s mantra: “Root.”

(October 22 - November 21)

You have more control of your environment and your surroundings than you think you do. Over the past several years (and really the last decade plus), you’ve been on a rollercoaster building up and letting go of close friendships, neighborhood ties and many different kinds of routines. This full moon lets you see what really does work for you on a foundational level. Follow what feels good even if that means giving up on something or someone.

This week’s mantra: “Curate.”

(November 22 - December 21)

Back in December, you set some very clear financial goals and intentions, and this week, you get to see how far you’ve come. If you’re feeling like you aren’t quite hitting the mark, consider how you can attract more clients, loans or collaborations into your life. Working together increases your net worth.

This week’s mantra: “Increase.”

(December 22 - January 19)

It’s a full moon in your sign on the 3rd which means all eyes are on you. Though this might seem like a cause for celebration, you’re actually feeling hyper-exposed and sensitive. Instead of worrying about what everyone thinks, take some time to figure out how you can feel good and grounded in your own body and mind. Do something just for you.

This week’s mantra: “Glow.”

(January 20 - February 18)

If you don’t already have your away message up, the full moon in Capricorn on the 3rd has you ready to log off for an extended vacation. You might even want to run away with someone or to somewhere unexpected as you lean into changing priorities and shifting desires. This is a week to prioritize rest and relaxation and accept change as it comes.

This week’s mantra: “Rest.”

(February 19 - March 20)

Back in December, you set some clear goals around making friends, building community or connecting with colleagues, and this week, all the work you’ve done over the past six months is made visible. You’re coming to realize that it’s all about discipline and a routine. How can you make sure these connections continue to grow over the next six months?

This week’s mantra: “Gather.”
