Your Weekly Horoscopes: February 12 to 18, 2023

Whether you’re dreading it or looking forward to it, Valentine’s Day is here. And this year the vibes are actually on point! Love planet Venus meets up with dreamy Neptune on the 15th stirring up all kinds of romantic fantasy. But on the 16th, the sun meets up with disciplined Saturn in Aquarius, reminding us that relationships aren’t all fun and games—they’re also work! Still though, if there was ever a week that you could make your fantasy crush into your partner, this is it. Mercury connects with Jupiter on the 17th giving you free rein to shoot your shot.

The week ends with the sun entering dreamy, imaginative Pisces on the 18th. Happy birthday to all of our favorite fish, especially to this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Queen, Rihanna!

The Ina Garten Cookbook You Should Add to Your Shelf, Based on Your Zodiac Sign

Aries

(March 21 - April 19)

Not to burst your romantic bubble, but before you go overboard planning a Valentine’s Day surprise for your partner, make sure you’re getting something in return. For you, this week ends either in bliss or disappointment, nothing in between. Some sharp words from a friend on the 17th are difficult to hear, but snap you back into reality.

This week’s mantra: “Receive.”

Taurus

(April 20 - May 20)

You might not be partnered this Valentine’s Day, but you’re everyone’s favorite friend and coworker as you decide to spread V-Day cheer to everyone in your sphere. Just try not to spend so much time baking cookies and making cards for your coworkers that you forget a major deadline! Delight and discipline work best hand in hand this week.

This week’s mantra: “Delegate.”

Gemini

(May 21 - June 20)

While everyone else is knee deep in romantic fantasy this week, you’re more concerned with furthering your career. A meeting with your boss scheduled for the 15th has you on edge. Will you be getting a promotion? Some long-awaited recognition? Do your best to stay grounded and keep your expectations in check. There’s even more work to do once you get what you want.

This week’s mantra: “Patience.”

Cancer

(June 21 - July 22)

As the moon wanes this week, so do you. You’re currently ending a cycle. Relationships that have kept you stuck in tricky power dynamics are ready to be released as are financial burdens that keep you from thriving. Set your sights on long term goals, travel plans and opportunities to gain more knowledge. It’s OK to indulge a little bit of fantasy.

This week’s mantra: “Dream.”

Leo

(July 23 - Aug 22)

You’re so excited about a recent hookup’s potential, but before you fall madly in love, consider how this relationship might be pushing your boundaries. You know that you’re fabulous and only deserve the best, but still, you often get stuck in relationships where you’re giving much more than you receive. Go where you’re being treated like royalty, not where you’re carrying all the weight.

This week’s mantra: “Queen.”

Virgo

(August 23 - September 23)

You’re not usually one to fall for the Hallmark holiday trappings of Valentine’s Day. But this year, you’re feeling extra romantic and sentimental. Whether you’re single or partnered, you’re excited to share the love with all your favorite people. Somehow giving into this sweetness makes your other responsibilities feel lighter and more manageable. Lean into what’s easy.

This week’s mantra: “Flow.”

Libra

(September 23 - October 21)

Though you’re usually more of a quality time or physical touch person, this week, you find that your love language is acts of service! Instead of a romantic dinner, you’re spending Valentine’s Day volunteering with your girlfriend or cleaning out the garage with your hubby. There’s so much sweetness to be found in your everyday life. Enjoy what’s around you!

This week’s mantra: “Simple.”

Scorpio

(October 22 - November 21)

The romantic fantasy that you’ve been swimming in since the end of January peaks on the 15th when Venus meets Neptune in your dating sector. This could make for a blissful date night or a super potent day of creativity and play. Open your heart while remembering to stay firm in your boundaries.

This week’s mantra: “Sweet.”

Sagittarius

(November 22 - December 21)

You’re feeling some pangs of regret this week. But is it worth it to sit around pining for lovers from the past? Instead of falling into a trap of what ifs, try to stay grounded and present in what you do have. There may be less people in your inner circle compared to a few years ago, but it’s the quality, not the quantity that matters.

This week’s mantra: “Intimate.”

Capricorn

(December 22 - January 19)

Think about where you were at this time last year, and also where you were at this time in 2021. As your ruling planet Saturn meets the sun on the 16th, you also get renewed. Though it’s easy to get lost in a daydream this week, try to spend some time evaluating where you’ve been and where you want to go. You have goals so write them down.

This week’s mantra: “Steady.”

Aquarius

(January 20 - February 18)

This is a week of ups and downs for you, Aquarius. One day, you’re feeling so self-confident you could burst, and the next, you’re feeling fried and less-than. Instead of getting stuck in the loop of self-deprecation though, try working through those hard feelings with an intensive skincare routine. Let the clay mask clear your pores and wipe your sorrows.

This week’s mantra: “Clean.”

Pisces

(February 19 - March 20)

Everyone wants to work with you, take you on a date or ask for your advice this week. But for some reason, despite all the compliments, you can’t shake some lingering stress and anxiety. Make sure you’re spending time with the people who really see you. The ones who always reflect back your true essence. Fill your own cup first.

This week’s mantra: “Full.”
