Like backless slides and millennial pink, tiny potted plants are having a real moment. But they’re not just adorable; they could actually extend your life.

That’s according to a new study by Harvard's School of Public Health, which found that women who lived in the greenest surroundings had mortality rates 12 percent lower than women who lived in plant-less homes. The eight-year study of more than 100,000 women also found that those surrounded by greenery had improved mental health.

Lower rates of depression and the chance to Instagram the hell out of your living room? Get thee to a nursery.
