The Rise NYC

MONDAYS

6:30 a.m. Kick off the week with burpees, dips and box jumps. Try HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) in Washington Square Park with The Rise NYC.

6:30 p.m. Join the Lolë Run Club. Meet at the fitness boutique’s Mercer Street location, then go for a four-mile run at an easy pace.

TUESDAYS

10:00 a.m. Do Athleta’s free Yoga in Bryant Park with a few hundred of your closest friends.

6:30 p.m. Strengthen your core (and get your abs bikini-ready) with sunset Pilates in Riverside Park’s Plaza at 66th St.

WEDNESDAYS

6:30 p.m. Brazilian Capoeira class, anyone? Venture to Indian Road Lawn in Inwood Hill Park and learn this amazing mash-up of martial arts, dance and acrobatics.

6:30 p.m. Gaze at the sunset at the Plaza at 66th St. in Riverside Park while taking a relaxing Hatha yoga class.

6:30 p.m. Get a different workout every Wednesday through August 10th on the South Plaza on Broadway and 22nd Street. Take a class from Yoga Shanti, Mile High Run Club, ChaiseFitness and more, then sip a free post-workout drink.

THURSDAYS

7:00 a.m. You know what’s way better than caffeine? Vinyasa yoga in Union Square, courtesy of the New York Health & Racquet Club.

5:00 p.m. Crunch is hosting a variety of free workouts and fitness classes as part of Union Square’s Summer in the Square series, so show up and prepare to sweat.

FRIDAYS

6:30 a.m. Start your weekend with a challenge: Run across the Williamsburg Bridge with The Rise NYC.

SATURDAYS

9:00 a.m. Head to the Astoria Park Track for a three-mile run with the New York Road Runners. (All skill levels are welcome, so don’t worry if you haven’t run a mile since gym class.)

11 a.m. Get your Zumba on at West Harlem Piers Park--it’s like a hip-hop, samba and salsa class all rolled into one.

11 a.m. Attend a fitness party with Mark Fisher Fitness in Hudson Park. Make friends and work on your beach bod? Win-win.

10:00 a.m. Practice your tree pose among actual trees--try Kripalu Yoga (which focuses on relaxation and meditation) at Socrates Sculpture Park in Astoria.

4:00 p.m. Get sweaty at GRIT at Pier 2 in Brooklyn Bridge Park--this high-impact workout burns calories even after you’re done, so you can eat an extra slice of pizza tonight.
