The Best Cycling Studios in Every Miami Neighborhood
We’ve always had a love-hate relationship with indoor cycling. Love the way it burns calories fast and makes us sweat like crazy. Hate the same old music, manic teachers and smelly studios. But don’t worry—there is such a thing as a pedaling happy place and we’ve found a bunch of them. Here, seven studios that have fitness junkies spoiled for choice.
In addition to blasting calories, this feel-good workout class gets endorphins flowing with its never-ending positive energy. Bikes are free of screens, giving riders a 45-minute tech break (which we all know is usually very necessary). Plus, the studio hosts a handful of themed classes every week. Coral Gables: SoulCycle
When class lets out inside Merrick Park, the workout high is almost contagious. But you have to try the class for yourself to get a taste of what makes this studio such a cult favorite. Let’s just say the infectious beats and butt-kicking sweat might get you addicted, too. Watch out, South Beach: There’s a second location that’s just as popular in your neighborhood.

MiMo/Upper Eastside: Element Aqua
Since most cycling classes make us look as if we’ve just stepped out of a pool, we couldn’t resist one that involves just that. At Element Aqua, expect aspects from traditional cycling—like the high-calorie burn, upbeat music and full-body engagement—but instead of a dark room, you’ll be riding in a waist-deep pool. The result: a low-impact sweat session that accomplishes the same toning and tightening while managing to feel like a trip to the spa.
North Miami: FlyWheel Sports
If you have competition coursing through your veins, this is the cycling class for you. The workout is intense and the calorie-burning potential is wild (over 500, easy). The best part? You can plug into the big board to see if you are beating your neighbor. Oh, did we mention there’s a Raw Republic next door? Reward yourself with a post-workout acai bowl. Yum.

Ah, Wynwheels. We go for the workout, but let’s be real, we stay for a Cubano from Enriqueta’s next door. Or maybe a slice of pie from Fireman Derek’s down the block. Don’t worry, we’re not judging. You just burned a few hundred calories anyway. That counts for something, right?
Kendall: Sensory Fitness
This powerhouse offers you a chance to cycle (and run and squat and basically just tone really hard). The plethora of calorie-blasting movements are all about power, so expect minutes of intense sweat with short rest intervals in between. Classes are also held inside dark rooms with glowing black lights and a live DJ. Club or fitness studio? Either way, we’re in.
Don’t shy away from this sweat party. Seriously. It will elevate your mood like whoa. The studio’s 45-minute class brings together the best of both worlds: dance and strengthening exercises for abs, arms and glutes. And if that’s not enough, there’s a 150-inch screen that plays scenes from recent music festivals and concerts. Once you’re done, you’ll definitely feel like you just saw Diplo and, ya know, had a great workout.
