You’ve heard the phrase “beauty sleep” a million and one times, but has there ever been proof that z's alter your face? Not until now. New research finds that even missing even a few hours of sleep has an effect on your appearance.
A study, published by Royal Society Open Science, photographed a group of people after two days of normal sleep and then after two days of restricted sleep (four hours or less). When another group was asked to rate the attractiveness of the subjects in the photos, the result was clear: Sleep-deprived people are less attractive.
