Have you got the bug? Ick, no, not the flu. The travel bug.
We may have just returned from the holiday break, but the winter doldrums are officially setting in and it’s nothing but dreamy beaches on our screen saver.
But before we shell out for a ticket to Cabo, we’re heading to Hopper.
This super-intuitive website is your new place to shop for affordable airfare. Nothing like those nauseating comparison sites (ads... everywhere), Hopper not only finds you low prices but also empowers you to make smart decisions with easy-to-read reports.
Let us explain.
Enter “Cabo” into the search bar. Hopper then tells you that any flight below $459 is a good deal (noted). It also says that the best time to fly from New York City is early March (don’t even think about April). Lastly, Hopper explains that the best day to book is Saturday (it’ll save ya $76).
But don’t stop there. One of our favorite features on Hopper is the Flight Explorer. This section lets you browse what people are currently booking on every other travel site on the ’net (Orbitz, JetBlue, Priceline, etc.) and lock in those same fares. Lucky for us, someone just snagged a trip to Cabo for $375--$84 less than the average going rate.
Feels good to have the upper hand, doesn’t it?
