Downton Abbey cruise
Oh my dears, you must go here.

Anne of Green Gables fans flock to Prince Edward Island. Hunger Games die-hards get their fix in North Carolina. And if you?re a Downton Abbey groupie who wants to get up close and personal with the show?s highbrow locales? Then across the pond you must trek.

??Wheaton-based travel agent Linda Urban is now booking summer trips for clients looking for total Downton immersion. (Choose from July, August and September 2015 dates.)

You?ll board a small, private barge called the Magna Carta in London, then spend six nights cruising down the River Thames and taking in the untouched British countryside. (Can?t you just see Lady Mary riding sidesaddle across those fields?)

The newly updated boat holds just eight guests, so round up a group of friends to charter the whole thing or go during one of the weeks for pairs of two.

??Either way, it?ll feel like you?re part of a floating house party: Gourmet meals, wine, an open bar and daily chauffeured sightseeing--including to the big house itself--are all part of the $5,250 a person cost. (Urban also offers budget-friendly Downton tours.) ??

It?s a splurge, indeed. But you have until July to save up--and as Countess Violet would say, ?Don?t be defeatist, dear. It?s very middle class.?
