How to Save a Photo Someone Texts You

For once in her life, your typically camera-challenged sister actually took an awesome picture and sent it to you via text. You want to save it to your camera roll. But, um, how? Here’s the easy way to do it, assuming you’ve got an up-to-date iPhone.

What do I do? Open your text chain and tap on the photo in question, so it fills your entire screen. Then tap the bottom of your screen, and tap on the little box with an arrow in it. Next, hit “save image.”

That’s it? Yep, the image will now appear in your camera roll, alongside all the pictures you’ve taken.

Does it work for videos, too? Sure does.
