We’re all guilty of it: Right before bed, on a long car ride or on the stationary bike at the gym, we pull out our phones and start to edit that picture from the Beyoncé concert last weekend. We throw on some filters, adjust the brightness, toggle whatever that little triangle tool is, until it’s in the best shape for our #TBT.
Except, dammit: It’s only Monday.
Huzzah! Instagram finally has the answer to our prayers: a drafts folder. The feature is currently available only to select users but will be rolling out to all devices in the coming weeks.
Here’s how it works: During your next downtime photo-editing spree, just press the back arrow from the editing screen and a prompt will ask if you’d like to discard changes or save the draft. Hit save and then, when it’s finally Thursday, tap the camera icon and your drafts folder will appear. There, you’ll find all your edited pics (you can even save captions and tags). Select your fierce ’gram, hit post and voilà: Your post is live.
Sooo, Hudson or Valencia? We can always decide later.
