A new app that helps plan your dream trip
You have more deadlines than you do extra time to fiddle around on the Internet scouring booking websites and playing DIY travel agent. But you still want a great deal on airfare to Fiji for your long-awaited Eat Pray Love moment.
Now you can plan your dream vacation an easier way with Tripnary, a just-launched app developed by a team at Chicago’s 1871 tech incubator in the Merchandise Mart.
Tripnary helps you keep an organized bucket list of all the places you want to go, then lets you compare airfare to all of them with a single tap.
Not sure where you want to go? Swipe through photos and descriptions of trending destinations--go right for “love” and left for “no thanks,” kinda like Tinder--to add new spots from Santorini to Shanghai to your list.
Then press the airplane icon at the bottom of your screen to see how much the journey will cost you. Click the ticket you want, and you’ll be directed to a site where you can buy it right then and there.
We have a week off in early March, and it looks like we can get to Dubai for $734 or Barcelona for $872.
