Your friend just posted the most adorable pic of her dog Rex in his happy place frolicking on the beach. You don’t just like the photo…you looove it. Now, thanks to the latest Facebook update, it’s possible to express exactly that.
Simply hover your cursor over the “like” button for a microsecond and you’ll see a pop-up with five new ways to react to posts from your pals. The animated emotions range from “love” and “haha” to “wow” and “sad” and “angry.” Posts in your newsfeed will even show a tally of all the reactions a pic or update gets.
For example, Rex running around like crazy earned 17 “loves” and 24 “hahas.” No word yet on what your Uncle Jimmy’s presidential-election live feed will garner (but God help us all).
