The Office still remains one of the best sitcoms of all time. Given that some fans are still debating about which season is best, we thought we’d settle the matter by ranking each one.

The Office feels incomplete without Michael Scott in it. Plus, Kate trying to make a move on Jim with Pam on maternity leave just feels like a lazy attempt to ramp up the drama.

SEASON 8

This season did have some good points. Still, we can’t ignore the fact that it’s rife with plotlines that leave us feeling more frustrated than anything. All of it is just a bit much.

We’ll give Season 1 some credit for starting things off & introducing great characters, but it feels like a trial run. This season appears to mirror elements from the British version.

Jim & Pam’s wedding is the best part. But Season 6 isn’t without its flaws. Dunder Mifflin is bought out by Sabre Corporation & Jim becomes co-manager which feels out of character.

Holly Flax makes her grand return, still attached to A.J., and it’s tearing Michael apart. We see a more vulnerable side of Michael here and we can’t help but keep rooting for him.

There are so many big moments in Season 5. It’s when Jim proposes to Pam, when the Michael Scott Paper Company gets launched & when Angela gets dumped by both Andy and Dwight.

This is the season that brings us all the drama and then some. Rashida Jones and Ed Helms give stellar performances as the newest transferred employees.

Season 4 is as close to perfect as it gets. From Stanley’s iconic “Did I Stutter?” to Michael & Jan’s disastrous dinner party, this season is loaded with laugh-out-loud moments.

Jim finally makes the first move and professes his love for Pam, shifting the dynamic of their relationship. It’s not Season 1, but it just feels like the one that started it all.
