As was expected, no photos were leaked and the Garden's lack of windows in the arena prevented any peering in. All the fans got was a measly sign screaming "JUST&T MARRIED!" following the ceremony. However, we did get a good look at the many guests parading from the Ritz Carlton on 28th Street to MSG instead of opting for a secret entrance. While some guests were no surprise (Abigail Anderson! Jenny Han!), there was one appearance that shocked me in the best way.

Supermodel Karlie Kloss was photographed with her husband, Joshua Kushner, heading to MSG on Friday. Kloss opted for a shimmer gold Grecian-inspired column gown from Tove's FW26 read-to-wear collection, which she paired with a matching clutch and heels.

What made the appearance so delightful was the fact that it was unexpected. Though the fashion icon and pop star's friendship goes back to 2012, they had reportedly drifted apart in recent years. At the beginning of their lore, Swift exclaimed in a Vogue interview that she wanted to bake cookies with Kloss. Theirs was a friendship that would define the majority of the 2010s as they roamed New York, went on an epic road trip, attended the Met Gala and sat courtside at Knicks games. Kloss and Swift also supported each others' professional endeavors, with Swift bringing the model as her AMAs date in 2014 and singing alongside Kloss as the latter walked the Victoria's Secret runway.

However, by 2018, the friendship had seemingly cooled, though interviews denied the rumors. Swift did not attend Kloss's 2019 wedding, and "it's time to go," a track from the singer's 2020 album, folklore, seemingly referenced Kloss and confirmed that the pair were no longer the friends they once were. Rumors picked up in 2023 when Kloss was seen at The Eras Tour in general seating rather than the VIP tent.

But, as is now appears, much was happening behind the scenes, and whatever reported rift was resolved enough for Kloss to show up to what is one of the most important days of a friend's life. It was touching to see, especially in a day and age where loneliness is an epidemic, friends feel hard to find and lifelong friends are a rarity.

Congrats to the happy couple, and cheers to the friendship.

The future queen shocked spectators first by joining them in the queue, where she shook hands and handed out tickets. Princess Catherine then got behind the ticket desk—not ever in my life was I expecting to see a princess hold out a point-of-sale system for anyone. Princess Catherine is an avid tennis player and has been a regular fixture court-side since marrying into the royal family in 2011. She took over patronage of the club from Queen Elizabeth in 2016; the Princess of Wales typically presents the trophies after the final matches and will sometimes attend the earlier rounds of the competition.

Kate Middleton Pens Personal Essay (and Shares a Throwback Photo from a Major Milestone)

The entertainer, 56, appeared on the June 30 episode of SubwayTakes with Kareen Rahma, where she shared her refreshingly upbeat perspective on heartbreak.

"Breakups are not a failure. I honestly feel like it’s a launchpad into your next best self," she said. Then came the kicker, "We should have a party when we break up!"

At first, it sounds a little unexpected. But the more you think about it, the more it kind of makes sense. Divorce parties have become surprisingly common in recent years, so why not celebrate the end of a dating relationship too? It still marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. And considering Lopez has experienced her fair share of romantic relationships, her perspective carries some weight.

The Office Romance star continued, "People should say, 'You broke up? Congratulations,' because one, you made a decision. Two, it was probably the best thing for everybody."

She also offered an interesting take on being the one who gets their heart broken.

"If you're the one who's being heartbroken, you're the winner. Because if you go around your life and you're breaking hearts, let's say, you're a loser," though the singer did concede, "I've been on both sides. We all do that. But if you're that person, you're never learning anything."

The "Love Don't Cost A Thing" singer also shared how heartbreak has ultimately been a catalyst for growth.

"I just feel like the biggest growth spurts I’ve had emotionally, mentally, psychologically have always come from a heartbreak," she explained. "And that’s not just in romantic relationships, that’s in work heartbreaks, all of it."

"It’s the only time you dig. You’re like, ‘What the f--k happened? How do I do this? Why do I keep doing this? Or why didn’t that happen? What could I have done better?'" Lopez said. "You change yourself completely."

Jennifer Lopez Just Made a Shocking Marriage Confession—And I Didn't See This Coming

As someone who ran the New York City Marathon, I spend a fair amount of time in activewear. I care about performance, whether leggings stay put on a run, whether a sports bra actually supports without suffocating and whether fabric can survive my sweat. But I’m also a fashion editor, which means I care just as much about how workout clothes look as how they perform. If I’m wearing something to run, walk the dog or grab coffee, it better do a little bit of everything.

That’s partly why I’m always curious about what’s new from Alo Yoga⁠. The Los Angeles-based brand has built a cult following thanks to its fashion-forward activewear. Lately, the brand has been leaning even further into elevated performance wear, with summer drops in rich colors (love the blue!), sculpting fabrics and pieces designed for everything from running to recovery to brunch with the girls.

So when I had the chance to try on some of Alo’s latest pieces, I wanted to see whether they lived up to the hype—not just from a style perspective, but from the point of view of someone who actually logs miles. I headed into the fitting room ready to find out.

Seamless Ribbed Favorite Bra Tank and 5" Seamless Ribbed Favorite Short

I knew this set was different the second I put it on and didn’t immediately start adjusting something. No tugging at the waistband, or pulling down the shorts. The fit is true to size with a lightly compressive feel, but the buttery-soft ribbed fabric (made from 97 percent nylon and 3 percent elastane) keeps it comfortable rather than restrictive. Compared with Alo’s Airlift or Airbrush—which offer a firmer, more sculpting hold—this set feels stretchier. The matching bra tank is a racerback that comes with removable cups, which I always appreciate because sometimes I want a little extra shape. The Azure blue color is what’s really unique. It somehow makes my skin pop! And the 5-inch shorts hit that sweet spot in length: secure without being too long or veering into full biker-short territory. Best of all, they don’t aggressively squeeze my thighs the way some seamless shorts can.

Before we talk about the contrast stitching, we need to talk about the fit. This set hugs and traces every curve with precision. The Airbrush fabric has Alo’s signature fit: sculpting, smoothing and supportive without feeling like I’m being vacuum-sealed into activewear. And the contour piping creates a subtle snatched effect that I swear makes your waist look smaller and your legs look even longer. When I tried it on, suddenly my posture improved, and my core was engaged. Who knew?! Now that the set is back in stock, I understand why people were practically panic-refreshing the website.

This set is ridiculously cozy thanks to the soft French terry fabric, which feels plush on the inside but doesn’t leave you overheating. The oversized crewneck has that perfect slouchy fit that makes you look cool, while the shorts hit that sweet spot of relaxed without feeling too short. And the Paradise Pink color? It’s cheerful, flattering and somehow makes even a coffee run feel cuter. It basically feels like wearing a hug—just a pretty-in-pink one.

Airlift High-Waist 7/8 Line Up Legging and Line Up Bra

I’m not saying a cute workout set will make me run faster, but I’m also not not saying that. Alo’s signature Airlift fabric has that smooth, sculpting feel that hugs everything in without feeling overly restrictive, and the high-rise waistband stays put—something I deeply appreciate on runs when the last thing I want to do is yank up my leggings every half mile. Plus, the red is gorgeous—is perfect for summer, but deep enough to transition beautifully into fall. Definitely pair with the scrunchie.

Softsculpt Halter Tennis Dress

I don’t play tennis. I don’t own a racket, I’ve never taken a lesson and if you asked me to explain the scoring, I’d mildly panic. But I do know a good dress when I see one, and this Alo tennis dress nearly convinced me to take up the sport for aesthetic reasons alone. The halter neckline sharpens my torso, while the black-and-white detailing keeps it graphic. More importantly, it doesn’t wear like a costume. I wouldn’t feel ridiculous wearing this outside a tennis court; which, realistically, is exactly what will happen.

Apparently I’m very committed to cosplaying as a tennis star. And if the halter tennis dress made me consider booking a lesson, this sweater knit dress has me considering membership at a country club. What I love about this one is that it leans even further into the fashion fantasy. The sweater knit gives it more of a preppy feel, while the A-line skirt and mid-thigh hem keep the silhouette very flattering. The fabric is lightweight, softly textured and has just a touch of stretch. Most tennis-inspired pieces can veer a little costume-y, but this feels wearable in real life. I’d throw this on with sneakers or even loafers and call it a day.

Surprisingly, not everything from Alo Yoga⁠ is designed for burpees and sprint intervals, and frankly, thank goodness. The Golden Hour High-Waist Straight Leg Pant⁠ (especially paired with the matching top) is proof that alo understands that sometimes the only workout you’re doing is power-walking through the airport. I’m obsessed with the fabric (a mix of polyester and nylon) that has an almost silky finish that glides over the skin and moves beautifully when you walk. And can we talk about the drawcord waist? As someone who enjoys a good meal—and occasionally a great one followed by dessert—I deeply appreciate pants that offer a little flexibility. Overall this set is relaxed and breathable, comfortable for long flights and chic enough that you could wear it to the office, too.

Off-Duty Cap

The structured brim gives just the right amount of shade, but the adjustable Velcro strap in the back is what sold me. As someone with hair that does not always believe in lying flat—whether it’s a big blowout, curls or a puffier ponytail—I appreciate a hat that works with volume. It works with leggings, denim, linen sets, swimsuits—you name it. Basically, you can wear it anywhere and with almost anything, which makes it dangerously easy to justify buying in multiple colors.

Sunset Sneaker Mule

I’m not usually a mule person, but the Alo Sunset Sneaker Mule made a compelling case. I’m obsessed with how comfortable they are; the recovery foam insole makes them feel surprisingly cushy for all-day wear. That said, as a runner, I wouldn’t reach for these for an actual workout or run. They lean far more fashion than performance. But for errands or Pilates? Perfect. I also love the double laces, which give them a cool detail that makes them feel more upgraded than your average mule. One note: I’d recommend ordering a half size up, especially if you’re between sizes or prefer a little extra room.

Windbreakers Are Back. I Wish They Weren’t

The big day comes three years after the Kansas City Chiefs star and the pop icon first crossed paths.

Their now-famous love story began in July 2023 when Travis Kelce attended Taylor Swift's Eras Tour stop in Kansas City and tried, unsuccessfully, to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it.

Not long after, he shared the story on his New Heights podcast, and fans immediately started rooting for the pair.

Just a couple of months later, Swift surprised everyone by showing up at Kelce's game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium. She watched from a suite alongside his mom, Donna Kelce, instantly sending the internet into overdrive.

By October, the couple had all but confirmed the romance. They stepped out hand in hand at an SNL afterparty in New York City, followed by a PDA-filled Instagram photo that made things feel officially official.

As 2024 rolled around, Swift became a regular at Chiefs games, cheering Kelce on throughout the NFL playoffs. After Kansas City's Super Bowl victory, the two celebrated together on the field in one of the year's most talked-about sports and pop culture moments.

Kelce returned the support that summer with a surprise appearance during Swift's Eras Tour stop in London. He joined the show as a backup performer during the The Tortured Poets Department set, delighting the packed crowd.

The rest of the year brought plenty of public outings, from date nights around New York City to a joint appearance at the US Open in September 2024, giving fans a steady stream of memorable couple moments.

Things quieted down a bit in 2025, at least until August. The month kicked off with Swift making her first-ever podcast appearance on New Heights to announce her new album, The Life of a Showgirl.

Shortly afterward, the couple shared the next major milestone in their relationship, announcing their engagement with matching Instagram posts featuring a romantic, flower-filled proposal.

But as Parker's due date approaches, things don't quite add up, and friends and family (boyfriend included) start having questions. Her September 22 due date came and went, and questions turned to doubts.

Weeks later, on October 9, 2020, things take a shocking turn—Parker calls 911, claiming she'd given birth off the highway and the baby wasn't breathing. She said she'd been on her way to meet her husband at a hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma. But, as officials would soon learn, the baby wasn't hers—nor was the blood all over her body.

This is Maternal Instinct, the documentary following the youngest woman on death row in Texas. Using a mix of interviews, videos and body cam footage, it details how Parker's pregnancy claims led to a murder conviction that devastated the entire community.

When doctors examined Parker and confirmed she had not had a baby, as her friends and family had suspected, their attention pivoted: Then where did this baby come from?

The film is primarily told through those who knew Parker. "I never got a sense from any of our reporting that she acknowledges what she did, that she’s remorseful, or that she can be truthful about it," Director Jessica Dimmock told Netflix's Tudum. "To give her any extra time to spin and lie just did not feel like the film I wanted to make. I wanted to hear from all of the people whose lives she damaged and broke forever, and not give her any more room to talk."

She added: "As part of our legal obligation and due diligence, we did reach out through her lawyers shortly before the film was released, and they declined to comment."

Parker continues to pursue her appeals as she sits on death row.

15 Shows and Movies to Watch This Weekend

I'll start by establishing two facts: I've read Pride and Prejudice 21 times, and I rarely watch television. In part because I have horrible self control—either I watch nothing or I binge the whole series in a matter of days, sleep schedule be damned. I'm also suspicious of spin-offs and sequels that seem to be milking existing IP for its fanbase rather than actually being good. So when my friend invited me to watch The Other Bennet Sister with her, I was equal parts curious and wary. Jane Austen is my holy grail author. Would this series do her justice? (FWIW, the show is adapted from Janice Hadlow's 2020 novel, itself well-received.) As someone who gets served *a lot* of Pride and Prejudice content online, I wasn't surprised when The Other Bennet Sister started getting served in my feed. So I said yes—and now my big question is, why haven't the big American streaming services brought it onto their platforms?!

If you're unfamiliar with the plot of Pride and Prejudice, Austen's most beloved work focuses on the escapades of the Bennet family. With five daughters and an entailed estate passing to their male cousin, the girls—lead by the witty, playful, sharp Elizabeth—must make a marriage match, lest they be consigned (and resigned) to destitution. Jane, Elizabeth, Kitty and Lydia all have charms to recommend them. Mary, the middle child, struggles with being less beautiful, less vivacious, less quick-witted than the rest, a fact the girls' mother unrelentingly holds over her head.

The Other Bennet Sister picks up where Pride and Prejudice left off. With all her sisters married, Mary remains, unhappy, in her parents's home at Longbourn under her mother's demeaning iron fist. Then, her father's sudden death pushes her into the glittery world of London with her aunt, uncle and cousins. There, the wallflower of the Bennet family learns what it means to bloom—with the help of an unexpected love triangle that throws her world (and spectacles) askew.

The series was surprising in several ways. Notably, every unlikeable character in the source material (Mr. Collins! Caroline Bingley! Lady Catherine de Bourgh! Mrs. Bennet!) has some sort of expanded, redeeming character arc. If you had told me that I'd leave the final episode thinking Mr. Collins and Caroline weren't half bad, I wouldn've told you to shut up. But here I am, scratching my head, wondering if they each need a spin-off of their own?!

I also thought that Mary's character was incredibly well-executed by lead actress Ella Bruccoleri. In Austen's novel, Mary is socially awkward; Bruccoleri plays the character with mannerisms suggesting Asperger's, which felt appropriate. The performance didn't reduce Mary to a caricature, nor did it paint her tragically. Rather, the series was incredibly funny and heartwarming, Mary's social foibles making her endearing and not the butt of a joke. The storyline is also inventive and unexpected—I always thought that Elizabeth was the iconoclast of Pride and Prejudice; Mary's turn in the spotlight has me changing my mind. The series's ending is surprising but makes sense for her character; what happens after that is just a little cherry on top. It made me...dare I say it...think Mary might have the ending I actually wanted when I envisioned myself in this world.

The last thing my friend and I couldn't stop raving about was the constant presence of Mary's spectacles throughout the series. As someone who has been fastidiously tracking Ugly Duckling core (and who has worn glasses since she was 8), it was refreshingly vindicating to have a heroine who never needs to cast aside her glasses to be desirable to others. There are innumerable moments in pop culture, from Wicked to The Princess Diaries, where the heroine must have her glasses broken in order for to be transformed into someone worth seeing. In key moments throughout The Other Bennet Sister, Mary's spectacles are firmly anchored to the bridge of her nose. It seems insignificant, but IYKYK.

Though I've been served snippets of the show on social media, I hadn't quite grasped the magnitude of its success. Per the BBC, The Other Bennet Sister has been the most successful drama across all UK platforms since May 2025, and the outlet's most successful social media campaign of the year. It also has a dazzling 97 percent on the Tomatometer and 91 percent approval on the Popcornmeter. As a TV skeptic, I'm here to say those scores are most definitely warranted. And now, if Netflix or Hulu or HBO could onboard this show, I think we'd have another dark horse à la Heated Rivalry on our hands...

Everyone Is Raving About This Raunchy AppleTV+ Show—So I Read the Book to See if It's Just as Good

1. Pachinko by Min Jin Lee

Min Jin Lee’s 2017 best-seller is one of my top ten books of all time. (And it was through her author interview with Lipa that I discovered Service95.) It follows four generations of a Korean family beginning in the early 1900s and spanning until 1989. Though the cast of characters is large, everything revolves around the matriarch, Sunja, looking at how one choice she makes reverberates through the generations of her family. They endure Japanese colonization and immigration to Japan against the background of destabilizing world events, with Sunja at the helm trying to steer them through. Lee’s follow-up, American Hagwon, hits bookshelves in September, and Pachinko has been adapted as an Apple TV+ series.

2. A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini

I rarely cry over books and movies, but Khaled Hosseini’s 2007 follow-up to his best-selling debut, The Kite Runner, made my eyes well up. Both books are phenomenally searing; I think A Thousand Splendid Suns particularly moved me because it’s the story of two women whose lives become intertwined through an abusive marriage. The book moves from the 1970s to the early 2000s in Afghanistan, where the duo must weather domestic violence, foreign insurrection and oppressive regimes. It’s a sweeping novel about sisterhood, love and sacrifice that’ll stay with you long after the last page is turned.

3. Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner

I’m not usually one for memoir, but Japanese Breakfast frontwoman Michelle Zauner’s Crying in H Mart had me reading to the end. It’s a poignant (and at times regretful) wrestling with Zauner’s relationship with her mother, who dies after battling cancer. This memoir packs everything into an experience only children of immigrants will understand fully—the pressure to carry on a legacy that came from sacrifice, the identity crisis that comes with negotiating cultures and the powerful bond of food to heal—but it’s a must-read no matter your background.

4. One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez

My classics book club read Gabriel García Márquez’s 1967 magnum opus together and it left us all…confused. For starters, every single character in this book seems to be named some version of Aureliano. But confusing family nomenclature aside, it was a fascinating plunge into Latin American magical realism that was at times funny (and meme-worthy) and at others gut-wrenching. As the name suggests, it follows seven generations of the Buendía family as they build the town of Macondo and ultimately weather a series of catastrophic world events and unusual, magical happenings. It deals with themes ranging from the supernatural to solitude, time, elitism and…incest.

5. The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood

I can’t believe I’m putting this to paper…I’ve only read part of The Handmaid’s Tale. In my defense, I was in high school; running a classics book club as an adult has made me realize I probably just didn’t have the brain power as a teenager to appreciate the great books when I was younger. I did write my high school senior year term paper on Alias Grace, though, so Margaret Atwood’s worlds are familiar territory. Maybe this is the year I actually read the book cover-to-cover. (And then promptly watch the Hulu series and its sequel, The Testaments). For those who haven’t been introduced to Atwood’s most popular work, The Handmaid’s Tale is set in Gilead, a theonomic, totalitarian state in which women are enslaved as reproductive apparatuses to boost a declining birth rate. It is narrated by Offred, a woman separated from her husband and daughter and forced into servitude; she soon uncovers a resistance movement, in which she is quickly entangled.

6. The Guest by Emma Cline

Our editor-in-chief, Jillian Quint, was quick to nominate The Guest, Emma Cline’s 2023 beach read of the summer. The short novel follows the mononymous protagonist Alex, who is presumed to be a call girl, as she attempts to survive a summer in the Hamptons after being dumped by her wealthy, older boyfriend. Little is revealed about Alex’s past or her hopes for the future; the novel is propulsive in that it lives in the now, the reader wondering how Alex will wheel, deal and impersonate her way through the week before she hopes to make amends. The Guest is an interesting study on wealth, privilege and how social capital is often more than enough to keep you living the good life.

Would this be the fever dream culmination of every love song Taylor Swift has written? An Eras tour of their relationship? Reports have swirled that a very "Love Story"-coded castle is being built within MSG, and other boxes labeled "Garden Party" have been loaded into the building.

Other reports cite that Tim McGraw (the subject of her first hit single) and Stevie Nicks (whom Swift paid homage to during the NBA Finals with a "Stevie Knicks" tee—another Easter egg?!) are slated to perform at the reception. Based on the NYPD memo, Friday's event will feature a 4 p.m. cocktail hour, followed by a wedding and reception around 5:30, and the party continuing on until 2 a.m.

That said, if Swiftis planting Easter eggs, it could be one big misdirection. "I keep hearing the MSG rumors are all a fake out," a music industry insider told Page Six. After all, "Mirror Ball" is about the reality of the spotlight—the expectation to perform and delight others, shining even when you feel dull. Maybe, while all eyes are on MSG, she's jetting 1,000 of her closest friends elsewhere, to a more private location for her wedding day.

Or maybe a mirror ball really is just a mirror ball. We'll have to wait until July 3rd to find out.

When it comes to style, I have a mood board collaging various fashion inspirations that I can look to when I feel stuck. (And I feel stuck often.) It includes everyone from my French host mom (to this day still the most sophisticated woman I know) and my fashion stylist friend, Belle Bakst, to celebrities like Laufey, Dakota Johnson and Elle Fanning. Kate Middleton also makes the list; I find her style an admirable combination of sharp and feminine. Back in March, I was fixated on a pleated skirt she wore during a public outing, and after weeks of searching, stumbled upon a style at Quince ($60) that made me, too, feel like I could be a (pretend) princess.

Pleated skirts are one of the Princess of Wales's style staples; in addition to the one she wore on a London outing in March, she also styled a Jenni Kayne pleated cream skirt ($395) while in Italy. Based on photos, I suspect it's a repeat from March.

When styling my own clothes, something I love to incorporate in addition the CST Rule (an outfit should have an interesting color, shape and/or texture) is movement. For me, that translates into swishy skirts. I love a good twirl or ginormous piece of fabric caught in the wind. It feels romantic. And a pleated skirt most definitely checks those boxes.

Quince's $60 rendition is made of the same fabric as Jenni Kayne's, and the crepe georgette weave provides a subtle, pebbled matte finish. The elastic waistband gives a lot of leeway, and the length is maxi, falling to about my ankles. (I'm 5'6'' for reference.)

What I find interesting about this pleated skirt is the "sunburst" pattern. Rather than have the pleats run from top to bottom, there's a circle of shorter pleats (forming the "rays" of the sun, I suppose) that burst from the waistband, and then longer pleats between them that run the length of the skirt. It adds an extra bit of dimension that I find fun and unique.

The skirt is available in three colors: an ivory approximating the style of Princess Catherine's, coffee brown and black. I ended up opting for black as I prefer dark colors when the fabric is more fluid than stiff. (It hides lumps and bumps better.) No matter the color, the skirt can be worn in all seasons. It's lightweight enough to wear in the summer (I'll be wearing it to an event in the dead of August), but the stretchy waistband and relaxed cut mean I can also layer a sweater and tights underneath when it gets cold. And, of course, it looks magical if you give it a good twirl.

Last night, Aniston, 57, shared a "summer dumper" (her words, definitely not mine) featuring pics of recent memories, celeb friends and her beloved dogs. And while I was happy to see so many familiar faces—like Billy Crudup and Naomi Watts—it was the first shot of her beau that truly caught my eye.

In the image, Aniston, in sunnies and a black top, is taking a selfie through the front seat of a car. On the other side stands Curtis, 50, smiling and wearing a casual tee and jeans. The best part? Aniston's body language, which says a lot.

First of all, there's her choice of pose. She's pursing her lips in a kiss, showing off a fun and playful side (surely a sign that she's enjoying her day with her boyfriend). And then there's the casualness of it all. She seems super relaxed, at ease in her surroundings (another sign that she and Curtis are comfortable being themselves around one another).

Aniston's laid-back energy and body language continues throughout the carousel. She looks to be right at home with her friend in the second slide. And in the third image where Crudup and Watts pop up, we get another glimpse of her chill vibes, showing off relaxed shoulders and a subtle, comfy smile.

Each image in the "dumper" paints her life not as a glammed up, overly-produced Hollywood one. Rather, she simply seems to be enjoying herself and living her best life (some famous friends in tow).

This latest post isn't the first we've seen of Curtis on her IG though...

Back in November, Aniston shared a black-and-white pic where she has her arms wrapped around Curtis. The caption read, “Happy birthday my love [red heart emoji] Cherished.”

This November post marked the first time the Morning Show actress officially acknowledged her boyfriend online, though they had been spotted with one another IRL on previous occasions.

Also late last year, in an Elle interview, Aniston briefly mentioned Curtis, revealing he’s a hypnotist and transformational coach.

I’ve analyzed four of the Princess of Wales’s favorite silhouettes and sourced affordable options starting at $67. The key to Kate’s polish is that she usually doesn’t opt for an oversized silhouette and stays away from bold patterns. Instead, she prioritizes A-line skirts that give the coat the “dress” feeling and sticks with monochrome or classic patterns like houndstooth. Follow those rules, and you’re already well on your way.

1. Tailored Coat Dress

In both cold and mild weather, the coat dress is a reliable staple for the Princess of Wales. Some of my favorite recent looks have been this cherry red Catherine Walker stunner from the Commonwealth Day service in 2025, the butter yellow jacquard panier number by Patrick McDowell ($2,632) she wore to the Order of the Garter Service this year and the military-style Walker dress she chose for Armistice Day.

Lucky for us commoners, the coat dress silhouette is easy to find on a budget, especially since tailoring has been big on the runways. This Amazon find ($67; $56) is under $100 and great for cooler weather. JW Pei’s maxi coat ($289; $232) cuts a dramatic, Old Hollywood-like figure for under $300. Heading to a party? Reformation’s Gloria two-piece ($528) is more of a splurge, but it makes for great occasion wear.

2. The Bright-Hued Statement Coat

While Princess Catherine usually opts for muted neutrals, sometimes she surprises us with bold hues. I loved her St. Patrick’s Day coat this year in a deep emerald green. And who could forget her Barbie pink cropped Max&Co. number from 2021? If we go even deeper into the archives, we’ll find the Princess’s cropped magenta Oscar de la Renta, which hit just above her knees. These days, she usually sticks with coats that hit the mid-calf, but this shows that a coat dress doesn’t have to be long to be polished.

Some current bold statement coat dresses I’ve been eying lately have been Boden’s Carlisle wool coat ($329; $197), a mustard-yellow find on Amazon ($67; $60) and Ann Taylor’s Weekend Plaid Cocoon coat ($190; $114).

3. A Classic Camel Coat

This is a staple in any woman’s closet, including the Princess of Wales. Seeing that she is a future queen, Princess Catherine has many camel coats in her closet. That includes designers like Massimo Dutti, Sportmax and the aforementioned Max&Co. She favors double-breasted silhouettes and self-tying belts rather than open styles.

Of the many designers in Princess Catherine’s rotation, Massimo Dutti is a bit more approachable than Alexander McQueen or Catherine Walker, whose coats easily price in the thousand-dollar range. Currently, the brand has a belted wool trench ($590) in its collection, coming in at just under $600. On the flip side, Quince’s $200 wool-cashmere coat also looks Kate-approved at one-third the price (and no plastic).

4. The Barn Coat

The Princess of Wales loves a barn coat, and when I saw her in this Barbour jacket last fall, I was totally obsessed. As far as royal fashion goes, Barbour is pretty accessible; the Princess’s Wax Jacket is under $500. (For what it’s worth, I found mine on Poshmark for under $200, basically brand-new.). And, yes, Quince makes a barn jacket for $90.

Pro Tip: Get a Tailor

Aside from filling your closet with tailored coats, the best thing you can do—no matter if you have a $100 coat or $1,000 coat—is to find a good tailor. The Princess’s clothes always fit; they look like they were cut for her exactly. As someone who has probably spent thousands of dollars at the tailor by now, I can attest that whether I’m taking in a thrifted piece or an $800 ball gown, it’s always worth it. In fact, a compliment I recently received was that my clothes looked cut to my body. Do I have a clothing budget fit for a princess? Nope. But I do have a good tailor on speed dial.

As a lifelong Francophile, I’ve been obsessed with a certain ballet-inspired French shoe brand for decades, drawn in by the allure and myth of the silhouette Brigitte Bardot made famous. However, my very flat feet never took to the thin insole—this was a devastating life event for a ballet flat aficionado. But then, my favorite shoe brand, Margaux, released a design that felt similar in spirit, but a lot more comfortable. Here’s why The Ada ($365) has quickly become a go-to in my shoe closet.

I’ve owned and worn the Ada for about a year and have done extensive research on sizing, fit and comfort. My first pair ended up running small, prompting me to do an in-store try on before deciding on a new size. Since then, I’ve logged miles in New York City, where I commute primarily by walking and taking the subway. I evaluated the shoe on the PW100 for five attributes: quality, versatility, comfort, durability and value, for a total score out of 100 points.

The Pros

There are two things about the Ada that makes it feel updated and dressier than your run-of-the-mill ballet flat. First is the square toe box, which feels slightly unexpected when I’m used to seeing either round or pointed iterations. The second is the 1-inch heel. It doesn’t seem like a lot of height, but it’s enough to feel like wearing jeans is an occasion, or to be paired with a more formal outfit without seeming out of place.

The Ada features Sacchetto construction, which means the shoe is made to fit like a glove—no stiffness right out of the box. Of all my Margaux flats (and I own many), the Ada is the most pliable. After a few wears, the leather was able to stretch slightly to the shape of my wider feet.

The self-tying bow is adjustable, so you can customize the fit. It’s best used to tighten the toe box; the grosgrain is rather inflexible and won’t do much in the way of expansion.

The Cons

Despite the square toe box, the shoe has a higher vamp than many of the brand’s other ballet flats, which negates any roominess it may have provided. I found it felt tighter across the top of my foot, right over the bone of my second toe. These shoes did need breaking in, and I found applying a bandage to my blister-prone areas was the best way to help ease my feet in. Eventually, I ditched the bandages and applied lotion before putting on my shoes, which provided enough slip to prevent chaffing.

The Ada really sent me on a wild goose chase when it came to sizing. My normal size with this brand is 36W (US 6W). That proved too small. While I suspect the leather could have stretched, the grosgrain ribbon and higher vamp prevented the shoe from stretching where I most needed it, which was across the top of my foot. The shoe also can vary in sizing between colors—the second time around, I tried on a 36.5M in a red (now discontinued); I ended up getting a tan pair which felt more snug, but not unbearable.

I haven’t had this particular problem with The Ada, but something I have noticed across my Margaux flats is that the leather can be delicate. I’ve chipped off the color on a few pairs and had to take them to the cobbler to get patched up. They’re good as new, but it was slightly disappointing. The first time this happened was with a fairly new pair of shoes, and the price is an investment, so I would have expected them to be a bit more durable.

Sizing Recommendation

Try the Ada on before buying, if you can. Customer service is also top notch, and I’ve never had a problem with a return or exchange.

I’d personally recommend you start by going up a half size in length and size down in width. For example, if my normal size is 36W, then I would do 36.5M. If your feet are wide like mine, I’d go up a half size and keep your width (so I would have done 36.5W). I was able to stretch out the 36.5M fairly easily, but I know I would have preferred the extra room of a 36.5W right out of the box.

The Bottom Line

Margaux shoes are an investment, and I’ve seen the prices go up significantly over the last few years. That being said, they are some of the most durable shoes in my closet—despite the few chipping incidences—and I write that as someone who walks much more than the average person. (On a given day I can easily walk two miles just running errands in the neighborhood.) These shoes are also built to be repaired and cared for rather than tossed at the end of their life. I’ve taken many shoes to the cobbler and gotten them fixed up like new for about a quarter of the cost (per shoe) it would have been to replace them. And I’ve only done it once every three or four years.

The Ada is a great choice for anyone who wants to feel a little dressier in their everyday without putting in too much effort, and who prioritize comfort over fashion. The great thing about The Ada is that you can have both.

This ACA-approved model is actually the upgraded version of the Casper Wave mattress that one former PureWow editor swore by for relieving her back aches. While the Wave has been discontinued, I imagine you won't be disappointed with this newer model that features hybrid layers of foam and flex coils meant to reduce motion transfer and provide prime comfort to your hips, waist and, of course, your lower back. But I'll let one buyer tell it: "I have been sleeping on the Dream Max for around a week and have not woken up once in the middle of the night to roll over. The mattress conforms to every curve of my body, making it incredibly comfortable. The firmness is perfect, too; it is not too firm but not soft. Unboxing it was relatively easy, and it inflated quickly." In other words, it's totally worth the splurge, although you can't put a price on a good night's sleep. Just saying.

That might sound a bit dramatic, but it’s the honest truth. I’m a side sleeper...and with previous mattresses I found my shoulders and sides hurting, as those specific [ones] were a bit too firm. I’ve been sleeping on the AS3 for three weeks, and I have not had any issues with shoulder, back or hip pain. My weight feels evenly distributed and decently supported," she shared in her review. Besides being supportive and incredibly comfy to sleep on, this gem also offers some temperature-regulation by way of its plant-based Bio-Pur memory foam.

This weekend is the Fourth of July, which makes me want a hot dog Legally Blonde prequel series real bad.

For years, there have been rumors and false starts involving another Legally Blonde sequel film starring the iconic Reese Witherspoon. Then came the surprise reveal that we'd instead be getting a spinoff TV series sans Witherspoon—and it would focus on Elle Woods' high school years. Finally, in one of the most anticipated arrivals of 2026, Elle just dropped on Prime Video in its entirety.

Early reviews of the show are...not the greatest. In fact, the critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes gives Elle a dismal 57 percent score. And while I hate to bring up other specific reviews in my own review, I feel like I must. The Daily Beast says it "makes no sense." TheWrap calls it "dour, boring and tedious." But guys, I'm here to tell you that the haters are totally wrong.

Will Elle, starring Lexi Minetree in the title role, end up on my "Best Shows of the Month" list? It seems very likely. Here, my honest Elle review (and spoiler alert: like exercise-induced endorphins, this new series makes me happy).

The pink-centric series immediately transports us to 1995, complete with Mariah Carey tunes, Days of Our Lives references, beepers and super-hold Nexxus hairspray (how else to keep those fabulous blonde '90s locks stiff as a board?). These nostalgic references are a fun element throughout the first episode—it's like eye-candy (and reference-candy?) for late Gen Xers and early millennials alike. (Honestly, it felt like the props, sets and nostalgia were directly inspired by one of my favorite throwbacks, Clueless, which just so happened to come out in 1995.)

For reasons involving a nose job, the Woods family is forced to relocate from pink and sunny California to grey and rainy Seattle, transforming Elle from belle of the ball to fish out of water in a (bend and) snap.

This setup is super smart and satisfying. Like the original film, where Elle is initially out of her element at Harvard with her pink pens and Playboy Bunny costume, this version puts our blonde hero in the uncomfortable position of trying to fit in at a new school where her favorite color is nowhere to be seen.

As she tries to make a new friend, the stranger (clearly not a fan of bubbly personalities) asks, "Did someone put you up to this?" She gushes in response, "I'm Elle. I like iced coffee, the month of July and when people dress kinda tennis-y even if they don't play tennis." A beat, then the classmate's deadpan response: "Was it Kimberly?"

I love seeing Elle in this complicated (but familiar) situation, forcing her to re-evaluate everything she thinks she knows.

While things aren't all roses and butterflies for Elle as she tries to adjust, this only adds more depth to the show (which easily could have been bubblegum fluff, but thankfully avoids that trap).

Minetree is truly great as high school Elle, striking a careful balance, living in the Legally Blonde world without simply doing a flat impersonation of Witherspoon's Elle. Her performance is fun, layered and makes me want to root for her even when she's making all the wrong choices (something Witherspoon also excelled at in the original).

And while I'm currently only one episode in, I can't wait to binge the rest, which is pretty easy considering all eight episodes of Elle season one are now streaming on Prime Video.

15 Shows and Movies to Watch This Weekend

Keeping up with the latest food launches is a full-time job—my full-time job. This year, it seems like brands are innovating and iterating faster than AI chatbots, so there’s a lot to keep up with. So, what’s worth trying?

After evaluating (and tasting) dozens of products and meals hitting the market, these are my top finds across chains, supermarkets and online stores. Consider this your guide to the most exciting things to eat and drink this summer.

And, because we’re a little early and some things won’t be hitting menus and aisles until later in the season, I’ll be updating this edition mid-summer with even more treats to try. So bookmark this page and get ready to refresh after July 4th, because more deliciousness awaits.

1. Krispy Kreme Launches Star-Spangled Donuts Ahead of July 4th

In honor of America's 250th, Krispy Kreme is going all out, offering four USA-themed donuts (including one emblazoned with the acronym in sugar and stuffed with Cookies n’ Kreme frosting). The other three are classic ringed donuts given a patriotic glow-up, with the most impressive being the Freedom Ring donut, decorated to look like an edible American flag.

It's not Ina Garten's flag cake, but perhaps in this case, even the Contessa would agree that store-bought (donut substitutes) are fine?

On that note, if you swing by a store on the Fourth and you're wearing red, white and blue, you can receive an original glazed donut for free (at participating locations).

2. Crumbl Changed Its Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe (for the Better)

When it comes to cookies, I have strong opinions on chocolate chip cookies—and I'm on a constant quest for the very best one. It turns out Crumbl has been on a similar journey, as the brand just launched its new take on a chocolate chip cookie. This one is chewier, with richer brown sugar notes and a more homemade, nostalgic vibe. There are large milk chocolate chips and semisweet chunks throughout, and while I could always go for more chocolate chips, I have to admit: This is one solid cookie.

You can order it now, and on that front, you may notice a few changes to the menu: Instead of six permanent classics, the brand will be offering four seasonally updated classics (right now, it's the Chocolate Chip Cookie, S'mores Cookie, Pink Sugar Cookie and Brownie Batter Cookie), along with six flavors that change weekly. You'll also be able to snag a different set of Thins cookies each week too.

3. Jersey Mike's Brings Back Chicken Salad

Normally, I'm not big on chicken salad, but Jersey Mike's changed my mind. It features tons of juicy chicken breast that's lightly tossed in mayo—so it's not gloppy or gooey—with just a little diced celery and black pepper to liven things up. You can order it as a sub, wrap or bowl, but whatever you do, add some crushed potato chips for extra crunch. It makes the meal sing.

4. Great Wolf Lodge Launches its Hot Dog Days of Summer Menu

Great Wolf Lodge, the kid-friendly resort known for its massive indoor/outdoor water parks, is giving you one more reason to book a long weekend this summer. Ten locations—including its California, Texas, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Ohio lodges—will be offering a Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs pop-up, featuring five regional riffs on hot dogs in honor of America's 250th birthday.

Called the Hot Dog Days of Summer, the menu features a classic Chicago Dog (poppy seed bun and all!), a twist on the Sonoran, known as the Southwest Dog (while it isn't bacon-wrapped, the all-beef frank is loaded with grilled jalapeños, pico de gallo, avocado, crema and crushed tortilla chips); and the Carolina Dog, which is piled high with pulled pork, coleslaw, a pickle spear, chopped onions and Carolina Gold barbecue sauce.

I got to try the entire lineup early, and while the Southwest was a personal favorite for how nicely the creaminess of the avocado and crema paired with the salty, smoky hot dog, I have to call out two as must-tries, just because they're such standouts: the New England Lobster Dog and the Big Texas Dog.

If you like lobster rolls—heck, if you've been unimpressed by lobster rolls but enjoy lobster—give this dog a try. The Nathan's hot dog offers some much-needed salt that livens up the New England classic. Great Wolf uses knuckle meat, too, offering more flavor than your typical roll, and whatever you do, spritz the whole thing with lemon before taking a bite. It brightens everything.

If you're not into seafood and simply want a crowd-pleaser, go for the Big Texas. In early taste tests, it was the fan favorite, and I could see why—it's topped with brisket chili that has a hit of coffee, offering a surprising depth of flavor, and the finely shredded cheddar cheese just takes your classic chili dog to the next level.

While the New England Lobster Dog is only available at the full-service restaurants (and at a higher price point of $24.99, given the ingredients), the other hot dogs can be found at the Nathan's pop-up in participating lodges. Each of those comes with chips and a fountain soda for $16.99.

5. Chipotle’s Fan-Favorite Chipotle Honey Chicken Returns

Chipotle Honey Chicken is back at the Mexican grill—for the time being—and if you’re into swicy flavors, you need to try it ASAP. It’s one of the best dishes I’ve tried over the past month…and I’ve sampled a ton. There’s a great balance of smoky and sweet flavors, with a slow-building heat, so you can go easy on the sauces and salsas (unless you want to cool things down with a dollop of guac or sour cream).

6. Cava Debuts Pomegranate-Glazed Salmon

Sad desk lunch? Not here, especially if you’re ordering Cava’s new Glazed Salmon. The salmon was a bit tougher than others I’ve tried, but the sticky-sweet glaze made up for it, offering a fruity note to offset the umami flavor. I prefer it as part of the Salmon + Yogurt Dill Bowl (hummus adds creamy contrast, while feta and peppery arugula keep it from veering too mild), though you can add this protein to any build-your-own bowl.

7. Levain Launches an Outstanding New Cookie

Levain's softball-sized cookies are decadent, and its latest launch is worth waiting around the block for—though you don't have to, because it's being shipped nationwide. Raspberry Pistachio features a hearty mix of Valrhona raspberry chips, pistachios and white chocolate in every bite, offering a sweet-tart flavor that's more akin to a soft scone than a traditional cookie. You can order it solo, but I recommend sampling it as part of the Nuts About Summer assortment, which includes two classics (Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Walnut) and a returning summertime fave, Rocky Road.

8. Chili’s Goes All Out With 6 Takes on Chicken Sandwiches

Chili’s is getting in on the Chicken Sandwich Showdown, and the chain didn’t come to play. It launched six variations on its Big Crispy Sandwich (two of which are available on the 3 for Me menu, which includes a side, drink, and chips and salsa or a side salad or soup for $10.99).

The chicken sandwich is easily shareable—it’s that massive—with thick, crispy breading that can stand up to whatever toppings or sauces you dose it in. I’ve been impressed with how well-seasoned and juicy the chicken is, making it one of the better chicken sandos you can order from a chain, and I’m looking forward to trying all of these riffs in due time:

• Big Crispy — This is the classic sandwich, which I’ve tried. It’s served with mayo and pickles on a toasted bun, and it’s part of the 3 for Me menu right now.
• Spicy Big Crispy — Same sandwich, only topped with spicy mayo, and currently part of the 3 for Me menu
• Honey-Chipotle Big Crispy — The crispy chicken’s tossed in honey-chipotle sauce, much like the chicken crispers, offering a sweet-smoky flavor with a bit of heat. This meal comes with mac and cheese and fries.
• Nashville Hot Big Crispy — Chili’s Nashville Hot seasoning is spicier to me than its honey-chipotle, so I’d recommend ordering this sandwich with a side of ranch (or two) to cool things down.
• Buffalo Big Crispy — Back in my day, this was Chili’s Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, and it was my go-to. I’m not sure how different this version is, but one thing’s for sure: Ask for extra napkins.
• Deluxe Big Crispy — The classic sandwich topped with thick-cut bacon, Swiss cheese, mayo, lettuce and tomato. It, too, comes with fries and mac and cheese.

9. Just Salad's Rethink Bowl Is a Feel-Good Reason to Treat Yourself

Light, refreshing, satiating—but that doesn't fully describe Just Salad's Rethink Bowl. The July promotion features basmati rice, chickpeas, mixed greens, braised chicken and briny feta, all tossed with a tangy lemon vinaigrette. It's a crowd-pleaser with a bonus feel-good component: 10 percent of every sale goes to Rethink Food, a nonprofit that partners with restaurants to feed families in need.

1. Head to Sprouts for Lemon Fest

Is lemon the pumpkin spice of summer? Yes, if Sprouts has anything to say about it. The grocery store chain launched Lemon Fest earlier this year, offering 28 products infused with the flavor, from muffins and turnovers to gelato bombs and coconut rolls. However, the underrated star of the series is the lemon pepper cashews—they're zingy, bright and have a nice saltiness to offset the sweetness of the cashews, making them the ultimate ball game or road trip snack.

2. Even Breakfast Is Getting the Star-Spangled Treatment

You may have noticed that grocery store aisles have gotten very patriotic this year. Some of the top items to try to really make a *day* of it? Wake up with Chobani American Blueberry Creamer in your La Colombe 1776 Liberty Cold Brew, as your kids decorate Pillsbury Toaster Strudels (featuring a strawberries-and-cream-striped interior) with blue frosting or nosh on limited-edition Birthday Cake Cheerios (which are patriotically speckled, of course). Then, at your afternoon cookout, you can serve Funfetti Stars & Stripes Red Swirl Cake or Betty Crocker America’s Birthday Cake Soft Baked Cookies for dessert.

3. Minion Mustard Is a Thing—And It's Green

The minions behind the Despicable Me franchise are always up to something—and this summer, it has (thankfully) less to do with Fart Blasters and more to do with putting an unexpected twist on mustard. In honor of Minions & Monsters (out July 1), the series teamed up with French's to launch Goomi Green mustard. As the name implies, it's bright green, making for a shocking addition to your burger or hot dog.

As trippy as it looks, it tastes like classic yellow mustard. I'm forever grateful they went in this direction and didn't make it banana-flavored, as many minions collabs tend to be.

4. Clevr's New Drink Is Designed to Help You Chill Out

Clevr may be known for its matcha latte blends, but its latest launch may make you deviate from your routine. It features eight key ingredients backed by clinical research, all designed to help you unwind and, potentially, sleep better. Each serving contains 48 percent of your daily value of magnesium (which can help calm restless legs and quiet a racing mind, per the Mayo Clinic), as well as L-Theanine and Tart Cherry extract. 7. Ghirardelli’s New Brownie Mix Is Not to Be Missed

Year after year, Ghirardelli’s brownie mix beats out the rest in our taste tests. But can the brand top itself? If you’re a milk chocolate fan, the answer is yes. The company just launched Milk Chocolate Chip Brownie Mix, offering a sweeter take on its seriously fudgy brownies.

8. FatBoy Takes Its Ice Cream Sandwiches to the Next Level

You haven’t had an ice cream sandwich until you’ve tried a FatBoy Ice Cream Sandwich. They live up to the name—they’re practically a meal—and this summer, the company’s launching three new varieties: S’mores Ice Cream Sandwich Pops, Waffle Cone Ice Cream Sandwich Pops and Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwiches. You had me at s’mores, honestly, but the Waffle Cone is also noteworthy, given its caramel swirl and coating of chocolate and waffle cone bits.

9. Reynolds’s New Countertop Prep Paper Makes Cooking with Kids Easier

Baking with your kids is a blast! The cleanup…everywhere…not so much. Reynolds Kitchens set out to change that with its new Countertop Prep Paper, which lightly adheres to the table using water. You just tear off the size you want, dampen the counter and place it shiny-side-down on top. (As a result, it’s also nonslip.)

While I know this isn’t food, it makes cooking—and cleanup—so easy that I needed to put it on your radar. It’s a game-changer, whether you’re prepping for pizza night or finally getting in on the table nachos trend.

10. Grüns Superfood Greens Gummies Releases a Firecracker Popsicle Flavor

I got hooked on Grüns's Superfoods Greens gummies during their Strawberry Vanilla Olipop collaboration. And while that variety is sold out, there's a new limited-edition flavor worth noting: Firecracker Popsicle. Kroger is going all Willy Wonka this season, launching a Sizzlin’ Snack Trio that offers a full cookout in chip form. One bag tastes like buttered corn (no, really), the second like Chili Cheese (it’s surprisingly meaty with a light smokiness) and the third, Cheeseburger (down to a briny pickle note).

If you don’t live near a Kroger—or you’re just really into chips—don’t miss Graza’s foray into the chip aisle. Yes, the company known for its Drizzle, Sizzle and Frizzle olive oils is debuting four types of chips (which are cooked in its EVOO, as you might expect). There’s Classic Sea Salt, Sa Salt & Vinegar, Hot & Sweet (featuring Graza’s datil chile spice blend) and—for my girl dinner devotees—Zesty Caesar, which has the garlicky notes you associate with the iconic salad dressing.

12. Toll House Is Giving You All New Ways to Enjoy Its Chocolate Chip Cookies

Toll House put the chocolate chip cookie on the map, but that doesn't mean the brand's resting on its laurels. You'll want to hit up your local Walmart or grocery store to get your hands on its three Chocolate Chip Remix doughs—featuring haute homemade twists on the classic—as well as the very FIFA-appropriate soccer ball morsel-topped cookie dough.

While the soccer variety is festive, the Remix lineup truly stands out for elevating your standard store-bought dough. The hardest part is deciding which to try first: Brown Butter Chocolate Chip, Inside Out Cookie (a chocolate cookie with white chocolaty morsels) or Oatmeal Chocolate Chip.

13. HelloFresh Redefines Haute Dogs

From Reuben Dogs to Danish-style glizzies with curry rémoulade, the limited-edition menu will make you look at the BBQ staple in a whole new light. The Starbucks Summer 2026 Menu Just Dropped—And Its Rainbow Drink Tastes Even Better Than It Looks

Lately, rumors have been swirling that the couple could be planning to tie the knot at Madison Square Garden in New York City over Fourth of July weekend, which has definitely sparked debate online, with some people insisting it sounds too wild to be true and others starting to think there might actually be something to it. And if it does turn out to be real, the price tag is no small detail.

One luxury wedding planner told CNN that a high-end wedding at Madison Square Garden could realistically land somewhere between $15 million and $20 million. Let's break it down.

As most people know, one of the biggest wedding costs is the venue itself. According to TMZ, booking Madison Square Garden reportedly runs about $1 million per night.

CNN has also reported on the rumored wedding plans for Taylor and Travis, both 36, noting that sources say MSG could host two key events tied to the celebration: a rehearsal on Thursday, July 2 and a larger gathering for about 1,000 guests on Friday, July 3. That alone would bring the venue total to around $2 million.

TMZ also reported that the NYPD would be involved in providing security for the events, which they estimate could add more than $150,000 to the bill.

So before you even get to the fun stuff like flowers, catering, photography, videography, entertainment, bar service, security, and all the other details that make a wedding feel like a wedding, the total is already sitting above $2.1 million.

Given that Taylor is a billionaire and Travis has earned a hefty income from his NFL career and endorsements, including a recent contract worth about $12 to $15 million, it is safe to say affordability is not exactly the issue here. Still, it is a staggering amount of money.

Of course, it is worth remembering that all of this is still rumor and speculation, so we will have to wait and see what actually happens. Either way, if there is any truth to it, the celebration is likely to be nothing short of spectacular.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Just Took PDA to a Whole New Level

In an interview with Laureus World Sports Awards, for which the Olympian is both an ambassador and multiple award winner, Biles discussed Williams's comeback.

"I feel like it's everyone's dream come true to see Serena compete again. I never got the opportunity besides on the TV so hopefully now in person I'll get to go see her since she's competing again," she squealed while crossing her fingers.

Biles then reflected on the legacy the tennis legend had built, adding, "She's an incredible human on and off the court, in sports, in business—she's a woman that truly does it all and gives us the power to believe. And that even when you think you're done you might have a little bit left in you so go after it. She even said, 'I have nothing to lose and I have everything to gain at this point,' which is really, really cool. And someone of her stature to say it gives us the power to believe."

However, what really got the comments buzzy was a small slip from third to first person.

"It's really exciting. I'm rooting for her obviously, but it is like, 'Wow, we might be crazy,'" Biles continued with a laugh. "You know? But crazy to believe. And that's all you need to start."

The "we might be crazy" was all fans needed to start speculating.

"Who is 'WEEE' Simone!!!!" one commenter wrote. "Don’t give me this hope!" Another added, "I'm gonna read into to these tea leaves that there's a possibility? Let's go crazy!" And yet another: "What’s better than a goat? A crazy goat!!!! Go for it, girl. See ya in ‘28."

The question of whether or not Biles would compete in the 2028 Games in Los Angeles has been discussed since she claimed the all-around gold medal at the Paris Olympics in 2024. While on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she playfully said, “Everybody wants to know this. I’m like, Can’t I just live?”

 Prior to her talk show appearance, Biles took to social media to address the relentless speculation, writing, “You guys really gotta stop asking athletes what’s next after they win a medal at the Olympics...Let us soak up the moment we’ve worked our whole lives for.”

As the 2028 Games creep closer, it's understood that Biles's participation is anticipated, though she has yet to give an official announcement. But, following Williams's legendary, joyful comeback, could this be a hint of what's to come? We can only hope.

The Prince of Wales, 44, marked the third anniversary of his flagship homelessness initiative, Homewards, on June 30. But instead of just showing up to speak, he also got stuck in and helped out behind the scenes. In a video shared the same day, the royal can be seen carrying a chair into a home as part of the project’s efforts.

"@homewardsuk making a house a home," the post was captioned. "Preparing care packages filled with essential items for a new home, helping new tenants feel settled and supported from day one."

In another post featuring a carousel of images from the visit, Prince William shared more context about the day.

"Meeting residents and support staff at Langstane Housing Association in Aberdeen - one of Homewards’ six flagship locations - to mark the completion of homes delivered through the city’s Innovative Housing Project," the caption read.

He also highlighted the hands-on element of the visit, writing, "Helping prepare welcome packages filled with the essential items that help people settle in and feel at home. Each fully furnished home - made possible through a network of partners including IKEA, Dunelm, DFS, Glencraft and The Multibank - is a reminder that stable housing, paired with the right support, can be the difference between crisis and a fresh start," the post continued.

The caption concluded, "A pleasure to also join key partners across the Homewards Aberdeen Coalition at an event to mark three years of the programme."

Kensington Palace Shares Regal Slow-Mo Video of Prince William Walking Alone Through Windsor Castle

In a new video, Catherine discusses why she decided to take on the challenge, and body language expert Inbaal Honigman believes the Princess of Wales, 44, appears"defiant in the face of the illness."

"Catherine starts her video using strong, stable body language, her shoulders are squared and she stands at her full height, showing how well she feels. But soon her memories creep back, and within a few seconds, she starts to lower her eyes, gazing to the side," Inbaal told Hello!.

"This glance indicates that she remembers her tough times, and although her smile remains upbeat and genuine, we see her chin rise a little," the expert continued. "This raised chin is a defiant move, she is determined that she will stay well and healthy. She's defiant in the face of the illness."

Alongside the June 28 video, Kensington Palace also shared a photo of Princess Catherine dressed for the hike, complete with trekking poles strapped to her backpack and a baseball cap peeking out beneath her rain jacket as she trekked through gray, rainy weather.

In the accompanying post, Princess Catherine explained that the challenge was about much more than reaching the summit.

"Not simply as a physical endeavor but as a chance to explore life beyond diagnosis and to give something back. The Royal Marsden is a place that holds great meaning for me and whose care and expertise are life changing for so many people," she explained.

"Through this challenge, I want to raise awareness for the deeper impact of serious illness and the importance of holistic healthcare," Catherine continued. "Every individual is different, and ensuring there is a whole person approach to care enables those living through cancer to manage the deeply personal challenge of diagnosis. Holistic therapies complement clinical pathways and support patients’ ability to maintain their wellbeing, resilience and quality of life during an exceptionally difficult time."

This 4th of July is a monumental one, with America observing the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Anyone who went to primary school in the U.S. is well-schooled in the lore of the Continental Congress and the Founding Fathers. (Did anyone else learn to sing the "Presidents Song" in fifth-grade choir?) What was never discussed were the women who made that possible. But Reese's Book Club's July pick dives into the life of an extraordinary wife and mother who watched her husband's political ascent while proving her own leadership prowess at home.

Witherspoon announced that the July book club pick would be A Founding Mother: A Novel of Abigail Adams ($15) by historical fiction authors Stephanie Dray and Laura Kamoie. As the title suggests, the novel traces Adams's life from wife of a country lawyer to First Lady.

"In the heart of revolutionary Boston, Abigail Adams raises her children amid riots, blockades, and the outbreak of war. While her husband, John Adams, rises from country lawyer to nation-builder, often away for years at a time, Abigail builds her own independence—managing their farm, making lucrative investments, amassing savings, battling plague and loss and defending their home," the synopsis reveals. "Unafraid to speak her mind, she famously offers fearless political counsel, urging John to 'remember the ladies' in the new government. Through it all, she becomes his most trusted confidante and indispensable ally...Even after her husband’s presidential administration, she continues battling political foes and working behind the scenes to advance her family, secure independence for the women in her life, and ensure a better life for the next generation of Americans."

Of the selection, the book club's newsletter shared, "This novel is a reminder that there are impactful stories of women’s influence behind some of the most celebrated American figures—women whose lives, legacies, and decisions helped shape the trajectory of history."

Dray and Kamoie are seasoned historical fiction writers, whose books examine overlooked women in history. Their other titles include Ribbons of Scarlet: A Novel of the French Revolution's Women, My Dear Hamilton: A Novel of Eliza Schuyler Hamilton and America’s First Daughter (a novel about Patsy Jefferson, eldest daughter of Thomas Jefferson).

As the saying goes, behind every man is a (great) woman. I, for one, can't wait to dive into A Founding Mother, and all the other forgotten histories.

3 Reese's Book Club Picks You Shouldn't Sleep On

Yes, there are a lot of streaming services, and, yes, there's a lot of buzz around the latest releases. But just because something's trending or on lists of most-viewed titles doesn't mean it's always worth a watch.

The month of June delivered a ton of great new content (even if one of my favorites did get canceled). And now, July 2026 is here with even more solid streaming offerings.

Allow me, an entertainment editor, to help you parse through it all with shows and movies that are actually worth watching this week. I'm talking buzzy movies like Enola Holmes 3, series finales of shows like Brilliant Minds and new prequel series like Elle. Enjoy the best selections (recommended by yours truly) on Netflix, Prime Video, in theaters and more.

From Silo season three to Worst Neighbor Ever, here's what to watch this weekend.

1. Elle

• Rating: TV-14
• Number of seasons: 1

One of the most highly anticipated shows of the year has finally arrived—the Legally Blonde prequel series starring Lexi Minetree in the title role. In a fun "fish-out-of-water" twist (kinda like the OG film), Elle is forced out of her comfort zone when she moves from pink and sunny Bel-Air to...Seattle?! Expectations for this one are high, but the trailer alone has me bending and snapping.

2. Silo

• Rating: TV-MA
• Number of seasons: 3

Season one of Silo rocked my world when it first hit Apple TV back in 2023. It was twist-filled, it was superbly acted and it wasn't afraid to write off our favorite characters. Now, the apocalyptic sci-fi series about an underground bunker (or silo) is back for season three, with the incredible Rebecca Ferguson still at the helm.

3. Enola Holmes 3

• Rating: PG-13
• Runtime: 105 minutes

I can't believe there's actually a third one of these...but I do love a Holmes mystery, and this one focuses on the kidnapping of Sherlock himself (Henry Cavill). Fortunately, Millie Bobby Brown is taking time away from husband Jake Bongiovi to solve the mystery (as her iconic Enola Holmes character, of course).

4. Young Washington

• Rating: PG-13
• Runtime: 125 minutes

A young George Washington is eager to make a name for himself in the prelude to the American Revolution. The film has so far received mixed reviews, but it features an all-star cast, including Mary-Louise Parker, Ben Kingsley, Andy Serkis and Kelsey Grammer. (As for the first president, the role is played by relative newcomer William Franklyn-Miller, who I'm guessing we're about to see everywhere.)

5. Survival of the Thickest

• Rating: TV-MA
• Number of seasons: 3

Comedian Michelle Buteau knows how to make me laugh just by opening her mouth (or sometimes even by making one of her signature "are you for real?" faces). In this Netflix comedy-drama, Buteau (whose voice you'll definitely recognize from The Circle) plays a struggling stylist trying to put her life back together after a terrible breakup. The third and final season of the series drops this week.

6. Ruthless

• Rating: TV-MA
• Number of seasons: 6

Season six of this psychological crime drama-thriller comes from the mind of movie and TV hitmaker Tyler Perry. A woman named Ruth (get it? Ruthless?!) gets wrapped up in a religious cult, but freeing herself and her daughter is much more difficult and dangerous than she ever imagined.

7. Brilliant Minds

• Rating: TV-14
• Number of seasons: 2

It's the end of an era a two-season canceled show. Back in May, NBC pulled the plug on Brilliant Minds, which stars Zachary Quinto as an unconventional neurologist who uses unorthodox methods to reach his patients, before its second season even finished airing. Now, the season two/series finale has arrived, and fans will just have to console themselves by watching one of the other million medical shows on TV right now.

8. Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular 2026

• Rating: N/A
• Runtime: 120 minutes

Not everyone is super into this year's 'Big 250' celebration, but surely everyone is at least into fireworks? Crank up the Katy Perry, grab a hot dog, pop open a bottle of something really strong and let's watch the fireworks spectacular as we toast to the next 250 (God willing).

9. Worst Neighbor Ever

• Rating: TV-MA
• Number of seasons: 1

If this horrifying docuseries sounds familiar, it's probably because it comes on the heels of Netflix's hit show Worst Roommate Ever. This version focuses on, you guessed it, the most terrible neighbors imaginable. Think fraud, violence and a healthy dose of neighborly payback.

10. X-Men '97

• Rating: TV-14
• Number of seasons: 2

Calling all my fellow '90s super nerds! The first season ended on a huge cliffhanger involving Apocalypse and a bunch of different timelines. Season two of the hit throwback series X-Men '97 arrives on Disney+ this week and picks up right where we left off. No one ever said cartoons had to be just for kids...

11. Minions & Monsters

• Rating: PG
• Runtime: 90 minutes

Speaking of cartoons, this latest addition to the Minions/Despicable Me franchise is bound to be a crowd-pleaser for kids and adults alike. Two minions try to make their own movie in 1920s Hollywood, but they accidentally unleash monsters upon the world. Yup, sounds like a Minions movie alright.

12. Lucky Strike

• Runtime: N/A

It's a high-stakes World War II thriller starring Clint Eastwood's son, Scott. A U.S. soldier is injured and trapped behind enemy lines, but can he make it out alive as the Nazi Army advances? (I'm guessing yes cause it's a movie, but I'll be seated to find out for sure.)

13.Chris & Martina: The Final Set

• Rating: TV-MA
• Runtime: 93 minutes

Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova dominated women's tennis for decades, paving the way for star athletes like Serena and Venus Williams. Now, this surprisingly candid documentary delves into their lives on and off the court—as well as their undeniable friendship.

14. Supergirl

• Rating: PG-13
• Runtime: 108 minutes

Milly Alcock went from "who is that?" to "she's in literally everything" (House of the Dragon, Sirens, Supergirl) in practically no time. This new role was teased at the end of 2025's Superman, and anticipation and expectations are super high. Jason Momoa and Krypto the Superdog co-star, and believe me when I say, this one is worth the watch.

15. The Bear

• Number of seasons: 5

The fifth and final season is finally here—and all eight episodes arrived on Hulu on June 25. The kitchen was left in chaos at the end of season four, and now, things are picking up right where they left off (with Carmy out of the food biz "for good"). Star Jamie Lee Curtis posted about the send-off on IG this week, saying "My baby bear [Jeremy Allen White] was such a beautiful scene partner. This last season, this last service is a perfect way to end the story of the Bearzatto family and friends."

I don’t know about you, but when seasonal collections drop at some of my favorite stores, I’m always a little overwhelmed by the selection. Whether it’s my go-to Aritzia, one I often overlook like Ann Taylor or even a mall mainstay like Gap (the store I never used to shop at until this past month), the new arrivals always know how to get me. This is especially true for J.Crew this season—though it totally surprised me at first.

When a last-minute grab-and-go piece becomes a fan favorite, you know it’s a good shopping day. This little black cover-up dress was dangling in front of me just before the dressing rooms, and I’m not one to look away. As far as cover-ups go, this number takes the cake because it’s everything you hope for: unbelievably light, easy to throw on, breezy and darn cute. Just take a look at that crochet lace trim!

One thing to note: It’s unlined and made from a semi-sheer organic cotton fabric, so you can see your bathing suit underneath—but I love that pop of bikini.

2. J.Crew Lemon-Printed Crepe Slip Dress

I (and this dress) implore you to step out of your comfort zone and try the busy print. Trust me, this chic, lemon-adorned fabric on this slip isn’t my usual style, but it gave me a confidence boost, making me feel like a whole new woman, ready to have fun and let my hair down. It’s surprisingly comfortable for how form-fitting it is, and I’ll always appreciate an adjustable spaghetti-strap detail whenever I come across it. It’s a Carrie Bradshaw-coded dress, ready for date nights with your own Mr. Big or your soul-mated BFFs. Just don’t forget to complete the look with strappy kitten heels and a baguette bag.

3. J.Crew Scrunchie Tipped String Bikini Top and J.Crew Cheeky Scrunchie Tipped String Bikini Bottom

She wore an itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny…RED bikini. When I think of J.Crew, swimsuit shopping isn’t the first thing that comes to mind, but when they dangle this fiery number on the entryway table, it’s hard to pass up. It’s your classic triangle bikini, with a few key details to call out. Namely, it features eye-catching blue contrast piping throughout—and there’s something about the addition of primary colors that never fails to impress. It also boasts a cheeky cut that doesn’t veer into thong territory (as they all seem to nowadays). I also genuinely love how the straps offer so much flexibility, whether it’s adjusting the fit on the bottoms or switching between a halter, crisscross or classic tie for the top.

4. J.Crew Beaded Shell Top and J.Crew Fairfax Mini Skirt

Let me make your beach vacation packing a bit easier with this matching skirt-and-top set. Everything about it, from the contrast stitching to its structured shape and darling beaded print, makes it a real wow moment. I even received compliments from my fellow dressing-room shoppers the second I stepped out. Best of all, you can mix and match the pieces to get more wear out of them, so you’re getting more bang for your buck.

5. J.Crew Tap Short

I’m under the impression that one can never own too many pairs of white shorts in the summertime. Enter: J.Crew Tap Shorts. More elevated than white denim cutoffs, this contemporary silhouette will make you feel more dressed up than usual—especially with those sleek seams that run down the front and back of the shorts—yet still keep you cool and give you legs for days. Fans of J.Crew’s crisp chinos will love that these are made from the same fabric—in fact, that was one of the reasons they came home with me.

6. J.Crew Heritage Terry Crewneck Sweatshirt

It’s not often I’m totally surprised by a piece of clothing—let alone a sweatshirt, of all things—but J.Crew’s Cool Lilac really came out of nowhere. From its loose hem to its relaxed fit, it was designed for summertime evenings and cool, breezy days. My favorite detail, besides the vibrant colorway and white contrast trim throughout, was how soft the heritage terry fabric felt. According to the brand, the cotton fabric has “lots of micro loops for added softness and subtle texture,” and it’s noticeable. It’s the type of piece I want to live in.

7. J.Crew Cruise Short

Hot take: Jean shorts are getting kind of tired. That’s why I love the fresh feel of J.Crew’s Cruise Short. It still gives off that denim vibe, but with the comfort of 100 percent organic cotton and all that breezy, soft goodness that comes with it. And forget the buttons—this baby has a stretchy elastic waistband and, get this, a nautical-inspired rope drawstring. These are the best shorts of the season, and you can’t convince me otherwise.

8. J.Crew 2025 Rollneck Sweater

If there’s one thing J.Crew perfects, it’s their sweaters. The lore of the Rollneck sweater traverses decades and oceans—seriously, I spotted a friend in London wearing the unmistakable rolled-knit, and after asking, she confirmed it was from none other than J.Crew. Best of all, it lives up to its hype. I tried the style made from 100 percent heritage cotton yarn, and I can’t rave enough about how comfortable it felt. The slouchiness was also drool-worthy, and the type of piece I never want to take off. In fact, it’s the perfect piece to wear over a bathing suit after a dip in the ocean. Although it's made to fit slightly loose, I opted for a large (two sizes up from my usual size) because I love my knitwear to fit extra roomy.

9. J.Crew Billie Linen Dress

As always, an LBD is non-negotiable. As I suspected, this lined linen number was chic, easy to wear and effortless. It’s the type of dress you want in your closet for days when you can’t be bothered to put together an outfit—simply throw this airy piece on and finish it off with chunky sandals, dangly earrings and a straw clutch bag for the ultimate summer-friendly look. Oh, and just wait until you see the back! It has the sleekest V-back detail, which is really refined and unexpected in the best way.

10. J.Crew Luna Pant

I tried on the Luna pants as another ploy to step out of my comfort zone, and I now understand why they’re a J.Crew bestseller. In fact, I’m going to be so bold as to say these might just be the It-pants of the summer, with their cooler-than-cool, relaxed style that’ll make you look effortlessly chic. They’re made from the breeziest cotton poplin, which actually looks better the more you wear it. (I don’t know about you, but when I find warm-weather-approved pants I don’t have to iron, I’m handing over my credit card.) There’s even an adjustable drawstring, so you can tie the pants lower on your hips or wear them higher for a capri look. I will note that these run slightly big, so stick to your usual size, as the medium (pictured above) was threatening to fall off my hips.

Its retrograde harmonizes with Mercury’s, further separating us from deadlines and adherence to clock time.

The moon slips into Taurus on Wednesday the 8th, bringing at least one celestial body into a grounded Earth sign. It will be joined on Thursday the 9th when Venus enters earthy Virgo. In Virgo, Venus becomes a lover of detail and perfection. She’s obsessed with quality and a master at discernment. Only the best will do, not in the gaudy way of Leo, but the meticulous attention unique to Virgo.

On Friday morning, Venus meets with the south node, further shedding any adornment leftover from Leo and renouncing worldly pleasures. There’s a sacrificing tone to this aspect, a selfless surrender of old worn-out stories to the past. Take a box to the thrift store and rest into the waning crescent moon.

"Lately," Williams wrote in the caption, accompanied by an image carousel. Between cute selfies with Adira, BTS shots of Wimbledon and car rides through the city, there was a photo of the trio sitting on the living room floor of the family's rental house. I'm used to seeing immaculate, Architectural Digest-styled celebrity homes, where it seems like if you even *thought* about sitting on something, it would break. But Williams' London living room looks delightfully lived-in. The pillows are mussed. The kids' toys are strewn over the rug. A lampshade is askew. A small comfort to me, who can on some days barely see her own floor in a sea of clothing and product samples.

Wimbledon will be the second official tournament in which Williams has played during her comeback. Earlier this month, she entered the HSBC Championships at Queen's Club in London after being awarded a wild card (the tennis version of an invitation for unranked athletes) to play doubles. Then, fans lost their minds when Williams and her older sister, Venus, announced they would play doubles at Wimbledon. Developed by a team of top dermatologists and aestheticians, Mediheal is South Korea’s number one sheet mask brand, a title they’ve steadfastly held onto for years now because of their efficacy, relative affordability and wide-ranging offerings for varying skin concerns. From collagen masks and vitamin C masks, I’ve tried them all, but the Tea Tree Essential Mask is my current MVP, as I find myself in a season of breakouts.

4. Aestura

While visiting Korea, I kept hearing about this brand and how good it was for calming inflamed skin. First launched in 1982 with a mission to create effective, science-led products for sensitive skin, it has since become a top selling brand at Olive Young (aka Korean Sephora), winning numerous awards throughout its 40-plus years on the market. Thankfully for us, Aestura is now available through Amazon, where I ordered their ATOBARRIER365 Cream to help me through a rough patch of dermatitis last winter.

5. Dr. Jart+

I will always have a soft spot for Dr. Jart because it was the first Korean skincare brand I remember really falling in love with as a bright-eyed beauty assistant in my 20s. The brand is known for their innovative, science-backed ingredients and the packaging is always eye-catching, though slightly odd at times (in the case of the Cryo rubber masks). This all makes perfect sense when you find out that Dr. Jart stands for “doctor joins art.” Per the brand, they “take skincare’s best ingredients and innovations (that’s the Dr.) and join them with artful experiences to create high-performance derma skincare with a playful twist that brings a smile to your face.” Mission accomplished, team Jart.

6. d'Alba

Not gonna lie, I initially thought d’Alba was a European brand because of the way it was marketed, but it is, in fact, a Korean skincare brand. The main ingredient that’s touted throughout the line is white truffles extracted from Piedmont, Italy. Apparently, these truffles are very rare and loaded with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that supercharge your skin with moisture. 

7. Illiyoon

If you’re looking for a family-friendly skincare brand that everyone from your toddler to your grandmother can use, Illiyoon is a safe bet. Dermatologist-tested to be gentle enough for even the most delicate skin, this Korean skincare brand is centered around ceramides that are derived from black beans and then encapsulated to offer a cosmetically elegant moisture boost both in and out of the shower.

If you’re on SkinTok, you’ve likely come across Anua. The viral skincare brand has become quite popular on the social platform for their cleansing oil, which has sold over 90,000 bottles on Amazon in the last month alone. Infused with heartleaf, an anti-inflammatory botanical that’s grown and harvested in Korea, their products have a well-earned reputation for soothing easily flushed or irritated skin. I’m especially a fan of their toner, which is refreshingly lightweight, yet hydrating.

July’s dramatis personae:

The Sun: The sun begins the month in Cancer, where it runs into a problematic and limiting contact with Saturn around July 6th, and then connects with a retrograde Mercury to reset our internal compass on the 12th. On the 22nd, the sun moves into Leo, the sign of its rulership.  In Leo, it will engage in a series of contacts with the outer planets (Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) that integrate the major shifts happening in the collective around us. The sun's journey culminates at the end of the month on the 29th, when it encounters Jupiter, newly ingressed into the sign of Leo. The sun with Jupiter is joyful and triumphant, and together they set forth the promises and goals of Jupiter’s yearlong transit.

The Moon: For most of the month we are in Cancer season, the season of the moon. The moon offers emotional containment during a sensitive Cancer new moon on the 14th that seeks to integrate the lessons and experiences of the current Mercury retrograde. The month ends with an emphatic full moon in the sign of Aquarius on the 29th that connects with nearly every outer planet, seeking to knit together the broader changes in our collective experience.

Mercury: Mercury is retrograde until the 23rd. Mercury will retrograde through Cancer, tangling thought with emotions and the past with the present. It’s a deeply feeling transit but may offer solace from trying to process everything that is happening. As with all retrogrades, it promises reversals, and the first assumption or reaction to a situation is likely not the final outcome. The retrograde ends in a harmonious contact with Venus, promising a peaceful resolution to any tension that might have come up.

Venus: Venus moves from Leo to Virgo on the 9th. She smooths out the end of Mercury retrograde on the 24th but gets in a heated argument with Mars on the 29th during the full moon.

Mars: Mars and Uranus collide on the 4th, and this is a flashpoint. Sudden and decisive action often happens on both global and personal scales. The only way to prepare is to stay aware of things that might, well, explode. Uranus is notoriously hard to predict but likes to set off revolutions and rebellions and champion liberations.

Jupiter: Jupiter entered Leo on June 29th, so July is the opening paragraph to its new story. From the 19th -21st, Jupiter moves through a succession of aspects with the outer planets, taking input from them for the times ahead. Jupiter's contact with the sun on the 29th is the true beginning of their work together.

Saturn: Saturn is at a position that keeps it largely out of the fray this month—phew. It does station retrograde on the 26th, though, signaling a dampening of Saturnian themes until December 10th.

Uranus: After the big bang it sets off on the 4th, Uranus confronts Venus on the 13th but plays nicely with all the other planets throughout the rest of the month.

Neptune: Neptune stations retrograde on the 7th. It may be trying to sink into the background, but it’s in alignment with Pluto and Uranus all month and offers its iridescent vibes to many other planets as they pass through the beginnings of air or fire signs this month.

Pluto: Pluto is in the background with its hands in everything. Because of the way it aligns with the other outer planets, many faster-moving planets move through a succession of contact with all three, bringing transpersonal themes down to Earth. It does come into chilling contact with the sun on the 26th that can create power struggles of warring egos.

The Lunar Nodes: The nodes shift signs at the end of the month, a once every 18-month occurrence. The nodes move from the Pisces/Virgo axis to the Leo/Aquarius axis on the 26th, changing the collective process from a receptive stance to an active stance—just in time for the eclipses next month.

July is a hot one because there’s no lull in the action, but with a retrograde Mercury, it’s hard to keep up with it all. The best way to navigate is intuitively, with the knowledge that in time all the pieces will fall into place, and you’ll understand how it was moving you towards the next phase of your story.

You might struggle to fit everything in this month and may have some hard conversations when you have to say no.

Love Horoscope: Venus, the love planet, starts off the month breezing through your house of playfulness and dating, but things get a lot more serious when she moves into Virgo on the 9th (and not in a romantic way). In Virgo, Venus is in your house of daily chores, and she’s the ultimate perfectionist. So the next time you notice the urge to criticize your partner, just let it go.   

Money Horoscope: Similar to your love life, work ramps up when Venus enters Virgo. A financial hiccup occurs later in the month when scheduling conflicts mean you might have to miss out on work and cash.

The new moon on the 14th integrates the lessons of the retrograde and starts a new cycle in your relationship with resources. The ruler of your debt sector also goes retrograde, making it easier to pay things off.

The last public outing the young prince undertook was accompanying his family to Trooping the Colour, the official birthday celebration of King Charles II. Kate Middleton and Prince William Made a Surprising Parenting Choice About Prince George’s Future

The photo shared to Instagram showed the Princess of Wales in hiking gear, poles strapped to her back and baseball cap peaking out from underneath her rain slicker, as the weather was gray and wet. Her sapphire engagement ring still shown as she gripped a monumental rock. In the caption, Princess Catherine revealed she had undertaken the National Three Peaks Challenge: "Not simply as a physical endeavor but as a chance to explore life beyond diagnosis and to give something back. The Royal Marsden is a place that holds great meaning for me and whose care and expertise are life changing for so many people."

The National Three Peaks Challenge involves a combined 23-mile hike across the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales (Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon), with a total elevation of 10,052 feet. The goal is to complete the hikes in 24 hours. The Princess of Wales did the challenge in support of The Royal Marsden, where she underwent her own treatment.

"Through this challenge, I want to raise awareness for the deeper impact of serious illness and the importance of holistic healthcare," she wrote in the personally signed caption. "Every individual is different, and ensuring there is a whole person approach to care enables those living through cancer to manage the deeply personal challenge of diagnosis. Holistic therapies complement clinical pathways and support patients’ ability to maintain their wellbeing, resilience and quality of life during an exceptionally difficult time."

The solo image was later followed up with a moving video, in which Princess Catherine stood alone in nature, birdsong faintly audible as she addressed the camera, highlighting the work of The Royal Marsden and the people she'd met during the challenge who were currently battling the disease, and those who had successfully completed treatment. She also took a moment for some surprisingly personal—and moving—reflection.

"I'm so grateful to be here," she said, "to be strong enough to walk these hills."

Kate Middleton Makes Rare Comments About How Cancer Impacted Her Family

Confession: I have never owned Crocs. I have only worn them once in my life, borrowing a pair to run down a hill and photograph a mailbox that reminded me of Wes Anderson. As someone who ascribes to a fashion philosophy of dressing appropriately for an activity, I have never needed to wear Crocs. I don’t garden, go to the beach or partake in anything that would require a waterproof clog. And my mother, who raised five children, didn’t bother paying over $10 for children’s shoes we’d soon grow out of. But as an adult, I’ve found myself feeling…adventurous. Last year I wore Birkenstocks for the first time. I liked the sneaker version so much I bought a pair of sandals for house slippers. And it’s with this newfound open-mindedness that I started pondering Crocs. The brand’s launch of ballet-inspired styles sealed my fate, and that’s how I ended up with a pair of Crocs Classic Ballet Flats ($45). Here are my thoughts as a ballet flat aficionado who’s been wearing the style for the past 24 years.

Admittedly, when I read PureWow Editor-in-Chief Jillian Quint’s ode to her own Crocs, I was skeptical. But the fact that she, too, had gone from being a holdout to having her son beg her to return his pair she’d been “borrowing” was too convincing to ignore. 

“My kids have long espoused the Jibbitz-encrusted plastic hooves, which fall somewhere between gardening clog, water shoe and orthopedic prescription,” she wrote. “But then something happened: My son started to wear my shoe-size and I started just trying out his Crocs. First, I’d pop them on to bring out the trash. Then, to run to the car real quick. But suddenly, I was fully out-and-about in my fifth grader’s camo Crocs—strutting to the corner store like an E.R.-nurse-Taylor-Swift, popping over to a neighbor’s in a Jenni Kayne sweater and trousers.”

If that wasn’t enough of a sell (I love a good Jenni Kayne sweater myself), it was Quint’s glowing words when it came to her actual feet. As someone with self-described gnarly feet, my ears always perk up when a fellow sufferer raves about any sort of shoe. And thus she wrote:

“I won’t get into the indignities of my feet, but my lord! The toe-bed! The cushioning! The king-sized berth that allows each bunion and corn its own special pillow!” 

That was it. I was a goner. A few days later, a pair of Crocs arrived at my apartment. I was equal parts elated and horrified. (For the record, I barely wear sneakers. My uniform usually includes a pair of flats from Margaux, a New York-based, French inspired footwear brand.) When I met my friend at Penn Station a few days later for a Swiftie Pennsylvania getaway, I whispered, half-despair, half-hope, “I got Crocs!” The delivery, I guess, leaned so much towards despair that at first my friend thought I had said, “I got crabs!” Which was, at that point, perhaps not far off from the same feeling of bewilderment?

Bewilderment, as it turned out, was the right feeling. It was cognitive dissonance as my feet (flat, bunions and all) gave a little sigh of contentment. Then I looked down and thought, “Wow, actually these are kinda cute!” All while an alarm bell went off screaming “You’re wearing Crocs and you’re not gardening?!” In fact, this shoe is so OOC for me that even my roommates were in awe. Oh, Marissa, Isabelle told me you got Crocs?! was the refrain of the week. 

And, these suckers have proven themselves rather versatile. Jeans and a T-shirt? Crocs. Flouncy summer dress in the same color family (red, in my case)? Crocs somehow worked. Polka dot matching set? Crocs. An aesthetic choice, to be sure, but Crocs. While not something I thought I’d gravitate toward, these ballet flats have every quality I wish my more “work appropriate” shoes offered. Namely, that I’m not having a Cinderella-ugly-stepsisters moment trying to squeeze shoes onto my wide feet. Plus, the strap can be worn two ways, and I love a shoe that can give a two-for-one look. In one little flick of the wrist, the Crocs ballet flats can turn into a Mary Jane. 

So, yeah, consider me converted. The war of attrition has been won, and if that makes me the loser, I can say that at the very least, I am a comfortable, happy little loser. *Squeakily walks away in Crocs.*

Is This the Comfortable Dress Sandal of Summer?

School’s out for summer, as the song goes, but the minute the calendar flips to July, I take a deep breath and brace myself for the logistics ahead.

Because, yes, parents get to gleefully fist-pump the air after months of reminding our kids to do their homework, get to bed at a reasonable hour and find that missing library book. But for those of us with kids heading to summer camp, that temporary freedom is quickly replaced by work that can feel more taxing than the day-to-day routine of the school year: the mental load of summer camp.

In theory, summer camp is pure joy. Looking at my own son’s schedule, I see a week of soccer camp, a week of arts and sculpture camp and a few weeks at the local zoo. Pretty idyllic stuff.

But the devil is in the details—and, more specifically, the variety. Barring the chaos of Maycember, the color-coded summer calendar I maintain is far more complicated than anything I create during the predictable rhythm of the school year.

It’s not just the changing locations. It’s the medical forms that have to be completed and submitted. The daily sunscreen applications. The name labels affixed to every. single. item. There are portal logins to remember (because every camp seems to use a different platform), swimsuits and towels to wash nonstop, and theme days to prepare for. Crazy Hat Day, but make it sun-safe? Sure.

My kitchen table transforms from a place where we gather for family dinners into a rotating command center of camp-related necessities. If I can see the outfit changes, swim goggles, water bottles and pickup forms laid out in front of me, I have a fighting chance of staying organized. (And, for the record, I'm only talking about day camp. Parents preparing for sleepaway camp deserve their own gold stars.)

All of this is to say that what is supposed to be a childcare solution quickly morphs into something else entirely: a seasonal project-management job layered on top of the one parents already have. We’re trying to keep our kids engaged, enriched and happily occupied while also managing work, household responsibilities and the small matter of paying the bills.

Of course, I’ll rise to the occasion. I always do! Parents are remarkably good at absorbing invisible labor and making it look effortless—even fun. But every summer, as I shuffle forms, sort camp T-shirts, and restock sunscreen I’m reminded that even the most carefree season of the year can be quite the behind-the-scenes production.
