There are two kinds of cookies: ones that taste really amazing, and ones that are, um, good for you. But wellness blogger Kerri Axelrod is changing all the rules with her SunButter cookies. They’re packed with protein, made with maple syrup and also happen to be delicious. Win-win.

15 Weird But Wonderful Ways to Use Cake Mix

Ingredients

1 cup organic sunflower seed butter (like SunButter)

6 tablespoons maple syrup

1 egg, beaten

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon baking soda

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

2. Combine the ingredients in a bowl and stir until thoroughly mixed.

3. Dollop about one tablespoon of batter per cookie on a greased cookie sheet.

4. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown. Remove the cookies from the cookie sheet with a spatula and let them cool on a wire rack before serving.
