Beer Margarita

A basic margarita is a beautiful thing…but sometimes we want more. Enter the beer margarita, which is equal parts potent and refreshing. Use any pilsner-style beer you like; just don’t skip the lime wedge garnish. Cheers!

We Just Discovered Sangrita and It's Absolutely Glorious


¼ cup lime juice

2 tablespoons agave syrup

1½ ounces tequila

8 ounces pilsner-style beer

Lime wedge, to garnish


1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the lime juice, agave syrup, tequila and 2 or 3 ice cubes.

2. Shake well to combine and then strain into a tall glass. Top the glass with the beer and serve immediately, garnished with a lime wedge.
