Dutch Apple Pie Milkshake

It’s the sad ballad of the holiday season—that slightly stale piece of leftover pie just sitting there days later. Well, now it can be the jewel in a boozy milkshake. While the idea comes from the Marie Callender’s test kitchen, you can sub in any pie. So enjoy your spiked milkshake and feel virtuous for not letting a delicious dish go to waste.

1 milkshake

1 slice leftover Marie Callender’s Dutch Apple Pie (or any apple pie)

2 scoops vanilla ice cream

1 cup milk

1 ounce salted caramel cream liqueur

Reddi-wip whipped topping, to garnish

1. In a blender, combine the pie, ice cream, milk and liqueur and blend until smooth, 2 to 3 minutes.

2. Pour the mixture into a tall glass and top with whipped topping. Serve immediately.
