Zanna Roberts Rassi

The Fashion and Beauty Editor Who’s Making Us ‘Kush’

Mother of twins, senior fashion editor at Marie Claire, fashion correspondent on E! News and NBC’s Today Show, stylist for Target—Zanna Roberts Rassi is no stranger to the hustle. But it’s her latest venture into the makeup world that has us on the edge of our seats.

A collection of multi-use products designed for on-the-go lifestyles, Milk Makeup (started in 2016) is an offshoot of Milk Studios—a photography-studio-cum-creative-agency founded by Rassi’s husband, Mazdack Rassi.

Beyond innovative products, Milk Makeup is also known for hitting on timely trends, namely genderless advertising and entirely vegan products. For the brand’s #BlurTheLines campaign for its universal Blur Stick primer, Milk Makeup cast seven models of diverse genders and sexual orientations. They were also one of the first to jump on the CBD craze, creating the cult-favorite cannabis infused mascara, Kush. Beauty standards: You’ve officially been broken.
