Meika Hollender

The Woman Who Thinks Talking About Sex Shouldn’t Be a Big Deal

When your parents are co-founders of Seventh Generation, caring about the environment is kind of in your blood. So it comes as no surprise that Meika Hollender has decided to carve her own path in the sustainable living space. Enter: her company Sustain Natural—a sexual-wellness brand that produces a range of natural products, including 100 percent organic cotton pads and tampons, as well as vegan and cruelty-free condoms and lube.

And it doesn’t stop there. Two years ago, Hollender launched the national Get on Top campaign during Women’s Health Week as a way to facilitate a digital dialogue around sexual health, and most recently she’s taken all of this knowledge and transferred it into her first book, Get on Top of Your Pleasure, Sexuality & Wellness: A Vagina Revolution.
