Zara wore a stunning purple coat and paired it with black trousers and matching stilettos. However, the real showstoppers were her purple fascinator, which featured a dramatic bow with feathers, and her Odette Mini purse by Lalage Beaumont, which retails for $875.
On the other hand, Mike donned a tweed jacket with dress pants and a white button-down shirt. In addition to a patterned tie, he accessorized with an Irish flat cap.
The equestrian-themed date should come as no surprise to royal aficionados. Not only did Zara grow up with horses, but she also won a silver medal at the 2012 Olympics. In 2020, the royal donated a painting of her horse to the charity Equestrian Relief, which she said was an effort to support the frontline essential workers during the pandemic. Oh, and did we mention Zara is the director of the Cheltenham Racecourse?
Zara is the second child of Princess Anne and Mark Phillips, but she’s the eldest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. She and Mike share three children together: Mia (8), Lena (3) and Lucas (11 months).
