Grab your own Ron and Hermione, and apparate straight to the Wizarding School of Alchemy, because we’ve just added Professor Snape’s potions class to our Hogwarts schedule.
Nope, this isn’t another AR mobile game. HP fans can now take an actual real-life Harry Potter–inspired potions class in NYC, according to AM New York. The two-hour class, which is more like an afternoon tea (we sure do love the Brits and they’re fancy schmancy ways), will teach participants how to brew edible “mermaid scales,” “giggle water” and “unicorn tears” under the guidance of a potions master, while noshing on mini sandwiches and baked goods.
The classes begin June 16 and take place every Monday, Friday and Saturday in the summer until August. Participants are highly encouraged to don their house robes as they’re taught by a Snape-like professor (although, nothing could come close to actual Severus, R.I.P.). House points are awarded for Hermione-level participation.
Tickets are on sale now for $45 for a two-hour class.
