You're choosing where to go on vacation. You consider the cost, food options, nighttime scene and, of course, how safe the place is.
You might want to consider Singapore, which was just named the world's safest country for visitors in Gallup's 2018 Global Law and Order Report.
The polling company surveyed more than 148,000 people from 142 countries, who weighed in on their confidence in local policing, how safe they felt walking alone and personal experiences of crime.
Rounding out the top five are Indonesia (fifth place), Switzerland and Canada (tied for fourth), Uzbekistan and Hong Kong (tied for third), and Norway, Iceland and Finland (tied for second).
Umm...anyone seen our passport?
