The Demagorgon. Alien-slug vomit. A giant pin-headed spider-like smoke monster.
Will Byers (played by Noah Schnapp) has had a tough childhood, to say the least. Luckily for him, however, things are about to look up…somewhat. According to a recent interview, Stranger Things executive producer Shawn Levy said he won’t be as tormented as in seasons one and two. Praise be…or as Eleven would say: bitchin’.
“We’re going to give Will a break,” Levy said. “We’re not going to put Will through hell for a third season in a row. He’ll be dealing with stuff, but he won’t be at rock-bottom the way we forced the amazing Noah Schnapp to play.”
Although he couldn’t give away much more, Levy said they have the third season pretty much sketched out.
“We now know what is going to happen in season three to every character,” he said, but couldn’t reveal much more than the fact that—huzzah!—we’ll “get some Steve/Dustin action…I want them to have a connection like they’ve really had a connection for a year—like they’re brothers.”
