“A diet is not something you go on; it’s not Splash Mountain at Disney World. A diet is the combination of the things you are eating,” he told us.
Try to avoid labeling your eating patterns as a diet, and think of healthy eating as more of a long-term lifestyle choice than a temporary way to drop a few pounds. “A healthier, more sustainable way to think of it is, ‘I’m looking into cleaning up my diet,’” Baia added.
Just remember, being your healthiest self is a marathon, not a sprint.
