Who Is Luke Bryan’s Wife, Caroline Boyer? Details on Their Super Private Relationship
Thanks to American Idol, we know just about everything about the judges, particularly country singer Luke Bryan. However, the same can’t be said about his better half, Caroline Boyer.
So, who is Bryan’s wife? Here’s everything we know about Boyer and their relationship.
Who Is Caroline Boyer?
Caroline was born on December 31, 1979, in Georgia. Although she enjoyed theater and music as a child, she went on to purse a degree in economics at Georgia Southern University.
How did they meet?
The couple met in 1998 when they were students at Georgia Southern University. (Bryan was a senior, and Boyer was a freshman.)
They first crossed paths at a local bar called Dingus Magee’s, and—according to the singer—it was love at first sight. “I knew that, no matter what, I was going to make my way over to her,” he told Good Housekeeping.
Who made the first move?
Though Luke was immediately smitten, it was Caroline who made the first move. “He was always a gentleman. We hung out as friends first, and he never made a move on me. I kissed him first!” she told People magazine. “He was always so scared of making a girl feel uncomfortable, he wouldn’t cross a line.”
What happened after college?
Although they went their separate ways after school, the pair crossed paths five years later and rekindled their relationship.
How did he propose?
Bryan popped the question in early 2008 in front of the Nashville Parthenon. (Romantic, indeed.)
When did they get married?
Bryan and Boyer tied the knot that same year in Turks & Caicos.
Do they have any kids?
They have two sons of their own: Thomas (11) and Tatum (8). The couple also adopted Luke’s sister’s son, Tilden, after both of his parents tragically passed away.
