It's been fascinating to see Victoria Beckham's style evolve over the years. From her posh mini black dresses to her sophisticated suits, she's served a variety of looks that legit made us want to raid her closet. On Instagram, the fashion designer, 46, shared a short video of herself to promote her new PAW20 (Pre Autumn Winter 2020) collection, which features '70s-inspired styles and earthy tones. She wore a colorful floral print shirt with a chain-belted caramel-beige skirt and light blue suede pumps, giving us total retro vibes with a more modern twist.
Beckham wrote: "Love the 70s feel of this floral shirt from the #VBPAW20 collection (the breeze is the work of a conveniently timed gust of wind through the window, not my personal wind machine…)"
Of course, we couldn't get enough of Beckham's flirty look, but what really caught our eye was the rack of clothing behind her. There are mostly black and white items with just a few bright blues and pinks, and while it's tough to make out what they are, we imagine that they range from crisp blazers and suits to knee-length dresses. As she tilts the camera to reveal the rest of her stylish ensemble, we also catch a glimpse of her countertop and a small bench towards the right. It's only a small peek, but we imagine that Beckham's full closet is massive (and basically every shopaholic's dream).
Previously, the former Spice Girl and fashion mogul opened up about what inspires her distinct style. While discussing her acclaimed Spring/Summer 20 Fashion Show, she said, "I was really focusing on the brand, looking at its DNA and at my community, being true to who I am and what my strengths are. I see those as beautiful clothes, great silhouettes, strange colours that you wouldn’t typically put together, which are almost so wrong they’re right. It’s about presenting clothes that are elevated enough for the catwalk but that people are actually going to wear; it’s never about showing fashion for the sake of showing fashion. I don’t want to wear things that are complicated. I’m always developing what I want in my wardrobe and I think it’s important that evolves, so you don’t get stuck in a rut, shall we say."
It's no wonder the fashion mogul's looks are ever evolving. Here's hoping that we'll get more glimpses of her glorious fashion closet in the future.
