With every new Apple announcement comes a wave of panic. Should I upgrade? Is it worth it? How will I get my hands on one before they sell out?
Well, since the brand announced the new iPhone 8 and iPhone X earlier this week, anyone who’s interested in getting the first wave of shipments better plan accordingly—all phones go on sale September 15 at 3:01 a.m. ET. (And the waitlists are very real, people.)
As for getting the best deal? Verizon Wireless customers might be in the lead. The brand has announced that they’re offering up to $300 off the iPhone 8 purchase price, listed at $699. The only catch is that you have to trade in your current eligible iPhone and sign-up for an unlimited data plan. (Your chronic Instagram habit should make that decision easy for you.)
The deal begins September 15 at 3:01 a.m. ET, and runs until September 30. There’s no word if inventory is capped at a certain number, so best to act fast. As they say, the early bird gets the cheapest iPhone.
