Tracee Ellis Ross just shared a rare photo on social media from her childhood, and she looks nearly identical to her mom, Diana, at that same age. (Surprise, surprise.)
Earlier this week, the Black-ish star, 48, posted a never-before-seen photo on her personal Instagram account, which was taken at some point during her high school career. Although Ross hasn’t changed one bit since her classroom days, there’s no denying that she inherited her mother’s good looks.
The black-and-white photo features teenage Ross sitting on the ground as she poses for the camera. She’s wearing a turtleneck sweater, jeans, cowboy boots and hoop earrings.
“High school Tracee…my relaxer was almosssttt done growing out…and I see some breakage on the left,” she wrote, referring to her naturally curly hair.
Followers immediately flooded the comments section with words of praise for the throwback photo. One user wrote, “Wow you haven’t changed. Them good genes [fire emoji].” Someone added, “But your outfit! And beauty shining through.” Another person referenced the resemblance to Diana Ross, writing, “You look like your mom [heart emoji].”
