Everyone's favorite TV mom (and our IG inspo) just broke some major beauty news.
Tracee Ellis Ross is launching PATTERN, a hair-care line for natural hair, and introduced it to her 6.8 million followers on Instagram today. The Blackish star revealed in the lengthy post that she's been working on the products for over ten years and was inspired by the lack of natural hair representation in Hollywood while she was on Girlfriends.
The line is aimed towards 3b to 4c hair types, ranging from curly to tight-textured hair. Aside from her list of TV hits and iconic fashion moments, Ross is known for her gorgeous curly locks, so it's no surprise she tested and tried about 74 samples to get her products ready for the beauty aisles.
Her line will include a shampoo, three conditioners, a leave-in conditioner, two hair serums, a shower brush, a hair clip and microfiber towels. Basically all the go-to tools to help maximize your curls and jump-start a new natural hair journey. Product prices will range from $9 to $42 and come in large sizes for those who need a little bit more than just a quarter-size for each wash.
The award-winning actress ended her post stating, "I'm excited for PATTERN to join the natural hair movement, and to celebrate our hair for what it is: beautiful!"
The hair-care line with be available online at Pattern Beauty starting September 9 at 9 a.m. and in Ulta stores on September 22. Time to make room in the beauty cabinet in the meantime.
