Tracee Ellis Ross recently shared photos of her dad on social media and their resemblance is making us do a double take.
In honor of Father's Day, Ross posted a series of pics with her siblings and her dad, Robert Ellis, and the father-daughter duo are seen with matching smiles. But judging by these snaps, Ellis's looks aren't the only thing that Ross inherited.
The actress kicked off the slideshow with a photo of her sisters and her father, then followed up with a few pics of just her and her dad, who clearly has the same sense of humor as Ross. One particular Christmas photo shows both Ross and Ellis sporting their brightest smiles as they strike goofy poses, and in the next pic, Ross is unable to contain her laughter because of something her dad said.
In the caption, she wrote, "This guy. Come on man. I love you so much @bobellis333."
Even fans couldn't help but point out the uncanny resemblance between the pair. One fan commented, "Wow, all these years I thought you looked liked Diana but whewww, y'all twins." Another user said, "Looks like he's where you get your funny bones from! Love this!"
The Black-ish star shared quite a few snaps and videos of her father in the past, including their long-awaited reunion back in April. Ross shared a clip of the happy moment on Instagram, where they embraced for the first time in months due to the pandemic. She captioned the post, “I finally got to see my dad @bobellis333. Oh, what a hug that was. We went for a wonderful walk in Central Park together and talked and talked and talked. Vaccinated and outside but we still stayed masked up.”
