Timothée Chalamet Stars in a Hella Tight New Coming-of-Age Film, ‘Hot Summer Nights’
In the new coming-of-age film, Chalamet stars as a shy boy named Daniel who is sent away to Cape Cod for the summer to stay with his Aunt Barb (Rebecca Koon) while his mother (Jeanine Serralles) grieves his father’s death.
Seduced by Vineyard Vines and the balmy ocean breeze, Daniel really lets loose. He tries marijuana (gasp!), makes out with a girl (Maika Monroe) and gets mixed up with the wrong dude, local weed dealer Hunter (Alex Roe). When Daniel realizes just how profitable slinging weed can be, he lends his newfound entrepreneurial edge to Hunter’s “small business” and learns the true meaning of “mo’ money, mo’ problems.”
Cue the out-of-office response for when Hot Summer Nights hits theaters on June 27.
