From feathers to seashells, we’ve seen some pretty, erm, different wedding bouquets. But an edible arrangement made entirely of doughnuts? That’s definitely a first.

Today, please join us in giving a riotous round of applause to Paige Kirk of Sydney, Australia, who walked down the aisle on her wedding day with a bouquet of ornate ivory...doughnuts. (Her three bridesmaids carried ’em, too.)

How did such a novel concept come to fruition, you ask? The story was first bravely reported by BBC. It seems that earlier this year, Kirk entered a contest looking for a bride who wanted to carry doughnuts in lieu of flowers. Spoiler: She won, and Dessert Boxes (the sweets company running the competition) crafted her unforgettable wedding day “bouquets.”

“My husband and I wanted to have fun at our wedding and we figured, why not have doughnuts?” she told BuzzFeed. “Everyone loves doughnuts!”

Girl, truer words have never been spoken.
