1. Is The Sex Lives of College Girls returning for season 2?

That’s correct. HBO Max announced the season two renewal back in 2021. Sarah Aubrey, Head of Original Content, HBO Max, confirmed the news by releasing a statement that read: “We are delighted that this comic, honest portrayal of the college condition has resonated for everyone, whether they had sex in college or not,” she said, according to Deadline. “We can’t wait to see where these uniquely complex yet relatable characters will go next.”

A few months later, creator Mindy Kaling shared behind-the-scenes pictures on Instagram that confirmed that production had begun. The first pic showed stars Pauline Chalamet (Kimberly), Amrit Kaur (Bela), Reneé Rapp (Leighton) and Alyah Chanelle Scott (Whitney). The caption read, “Back at Essex College with these baddies. @thesexlivesofcollegegirls Season 2 table read time!”

2. When will The Sex Lives of College Girls season 2 premiere?

The Sex Lives of College Girls season 2 will premiere on—drumroll, please—November 17. The first two episodes will drop that day, followed by weekly installments leading up to the finale on December 15.

The series follows a group of roommates who are navigating their university years at Essex College. While few details about the new season have been released, it’ll pick up right after Fall Break.
