‘The Princess Bride’ Is Celebrating 30 Years with a Return to the Big Screen
20th Century Fox

We cannot get over the fact that it’s been 30 years since The Princess Bride changed our lives for the better. Inconceivable! But now, in honor of the film’s 30th anniversary, your favorite farcical fairy tale is making its way back to the big screen...but for two days only.

The classic 1987 film was granted a limited re-release and will return to 700 theaters across the country on Sunday, October 15, and Wednesday, October 18. The screenings will show The Princess Bride in addition to a short film that features commentary from director Rob Reiner on the movie’s success and legacy.

Tickets for The Princess Bride can be purchased online or in person at participating box offices. A full list of locations can be found on the Fathom Events website.
