The clip introduces us to an inexperienced scammer (Wilson) who teams up with a high-class woman (Hathaway) after crossing paths on a train. Together, they seek revenge on the dirty men who’ve wronged them, and it sounds like a movie version of Ariana Grande’s Sweetener.
The Hustle is directed by Chris Addison (Veep) and written by the O.G. writing team, including Stanley Shapiro (Pillow Talk), Paul Henning (The Beverly Hillbillies) and Dale Launer (My Cousin Vinny). In addition to Wilson and Hathaway, the film also stars Alex Sharp (To the Bone), Tim Blake Nelson (Fantastic Four), Ingrid Oliver (Doctor Who), Meena Rayann (Game of Thrones) and Emma Davies (Royal Wives at War).
The Hustle will hit theaters on Friday, May 10, and we’ve never felt more ready.
