‘The Bachelorette’ Lead Charity Lawson Is Getting Ready to Join Another ABC Franchise

Charity Lawson might have just handed out her last rose on The Bachelorette, but the Georgia native is not ready to say goodbye to the small screen quite yet.

During The Bachelorette season 20 finale (which premiered on Monday), host Jesse Palmer announced that the leading lady will become a contestant on season 32 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.

The 27-year-old’s now fiancé, Dotun Olubeko, shared the news with his wife-to-be and the rest of Bachelor Nation shortly after the two got engaged on the show. “So I know you like to cut up, you like to dance and you like to get down,” Olubeko told his fiancée, who couldn’t stop beaming.

He continued, “And you know that we’ve talked about this, about how amazing this opportunity would be, and I am so happy to be the one to tell you that you’re going to be on Dancing with the Stars.”

After the news broke, the official Dancing with the Stars IG page welcomed the former Bachelorette to the show by sharing a clip of Lawson (rocking a vibrant red dress) strutting down a hallway.

The caption read: “A whole new journey begins for @CharityLawson as she joins Dancing with the Stars, coming this fall, LIVE on ABC and Disney+! Stream the next day on Hulu. #DWTS #TheBachelorette.”

However, that wasn’t the only announcement made during The Bachelorette finale. During the episode, it was revealed that the next Bachelor for season 28 will be…Joey Graziadei! Viewers may recognize the 28-year-old tennis athlete for being a contestant in the latest season of The Bachelorette, where he made it to the final two.

In the promo video shared on The Bachelor’s Instagram account, Graziadei narrated, “I’m definitely the hopeless romantic. I want to be married. I want to have a love that lasts a lifetime. So I’m really ready to go on this journey.”

See you on the dance floor, Charity.
