You know the “Taylor Mountain” from Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” music video? Well, the singer’s “former selves” may be a tad creepy, but the behind-the-scenes video of Tay meeting her clones is pretty damn hilarious.
Swift released a first-look video of the making of the music video for “Look What You Made Me Do” and—in the singer’s words—it’s “the trippiest thing” we’ve ever seen.
In the clip, Swift walks on set and is greeted by a group of extras dressed in iconic outfits from the singer’s past, which is an (understandably) odd experience. Swift said, “Seeing all of them together is the weirdest feeling, but it’s awesome. It’s like, ‘Oh, that’s the phase I went through when I was 16, but a girl is wearing it who looks just like me.’”
The “LWYMMD” music video features an epic fight scene where Swift’s clones battle it out in an attempt to climb to the top of “Taylor Mountain.” But Swift says the behind-the-scenes vibe was anything but hostile: “We’re having a great time. We’re all just chatting about life. That’s gotta look weird.”
Now, will the real Taylor Swift please stand up?
