Target Just Released Its Own $5 Bottled Sangria and Bring On Summer Already

It's our go-to for affordable candles, Joanna Gaines–approved throws and inflatable adult pools. And recently, the retail giant entered the business of our favorite beverage (wine, duh), which means it's the ultimate one-stop shop. Even better? Target is expanding its wine selection to include sangria—retailing at just $5 per bottle.

The company will unveil the new beverage starting on May 20 at all of its locations that are licensed to sell alcohol (approximately 80 percent of its stores). The sangria will be part of the California Roots collection (aka the chain's answer to Trader Joe's Two-Buck-Chuck).

We haven't been able to sip the drink yet but apparently, it's a red sangria with tasting notes of fresh berries and citrus. Oh, and did we mention that it only costs $5? (We know we did. We're just really excited about it.)

To be honest, whipping up a batch of sangria from scratch isn't particularly laborious. But for those days where even chopping up fruit feels like too much work, being able to just come home, unscrew a bottle and pretend like you're in Barcelona sounds pretty damn fabulous. And hey, you could always toss some berries into your glass if you're feeling fancy.
